So after our loss last week the coach has flipped the magnets around. Backs are forwards and vice versa.  :o

Interesting indeed. Without a couple of very good defenders, it'll be a tough battle against the Dees.
Good luck ladies. Enjoy yourselves and don't forget the chocolates.

I know Davey has got 3 best on grounds in the first 3 games she has played....but i think that is still underselling how important she is to the team!

We looked lost down back without her and failed to set up and clear the ball from defense.

I think we hit the post 3 times today, and in a game where you lose by a goal, that can be the ball game...and it was.

We did well to come back from where we were, but never should've been there.

If we are to make the Grand Final, we basically need to win out from here...and that includes against the currently unbeaten Lions.

I haven't seen the game yet but I thought it would be hard to cover Davey.

Not only can one inaccurate kick cost you the game, it can cost you a place in the final :(

Just had a look at the possession count for this game.

Dees had 7 players who had more touches on the ground than our best.

Total possession count.
Dees - 245
Blues - 154

91 more!

....and it came down to a single goal kicked in the last couple of minutes to a player inside 50 who had the whole 50 to herself.

It's a funny old game.
