Voting this week is bitter - sweet. When the Umpires admit we were screwed, it tells you a lot. That it happens 2 weeks in a row also says a lot.

I don't usually give such a high rating for a loss, but we really did play that well.

Explanations:
[4]   Gibbs:   His best game in our colours. He was dynamic. He beat his man, he tackled hard, he kicked clutch goals and he attacked the ball the way we've always wanted him to. A truly brilliant effort.
[2]   Carrazzo:   Took Johnston to the cleaners. He really showed the sort of football we've been missing.
[2]   Docherty:   A good game from an improving kid.
[1.5]   McLean:   A really strong game from Broke.
[1]   Yarran:      Yazz managed to show some true brilliance on the field. He mesmerized the Geelong defence with his run and his smarts.
[1]   Jamison:   A quiet first half, but his game on Hawkins after half time was vintage Jamo.
[1]   Warnock:   Warnock has always struggled on McIntosh before, but this time he used his spring and took the guy to the cleaners.
[1]   Thomas:   Starting to show why we recruited him. His goals were vital.
[0.5]   Murphy:   Tagged closely by Guthrie, who beat him in the last quarter. However when we needed to get back in the game Murphy really stood up.
[0.5]   Casboult:   If only he could kick.
[0.5]   Simpson:   Not as good as he has been recently, but he kept putting in and forcing the ball forward.

Honourable Mentions:
Walker:   Would have got votes had his kicks been that little more effective.
Robinson:   Not a big night from Robbo, but he worked very hard and should have got a free to win the game.
Everitt:   Not as prolific as recently, but he did a good job on his opponents.
Menzel:   Kicked some clutch goals. More please.
Armfield:   Had a defensive job and again did it well. Had some great run too.
