What an ugly, uninspiring game. What an uninspiring performance from players who should be doing better.

Team:   D+
We could have won if we had any ideas how to take our chances. But the mistakes we made were lethal. So much good work wasted, because we couldn’t hit the side of a barn.

Votes:
[3]   Bryce Gibbs
[1.5]   Matthew Kreuzer
[1.5]   Marc Murphy
[1.5]   Sam Docherty
[1.5]   Sam Kerridge
[1.5]   Kade Simpson
[1.5]   Liam Jones
[0.5]   Nick Graham
[0.5]   Alex Silvagni
[0.5]   Jacob Weitering
[0.5]   Matthew Wright
[0.5]   Jed Lamb
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow

Explanations:
[3]   Bryce Gibbs:   Probably the best on the ground. He worked for 4 quarters and beat everyone who went up against him.
[1.5]   Matthew Kreuzer:   Dominated in the ruck and did well around the ground.
[1.5]   Marc Murphy:   Not his best game, but a solid one.
[1.5]   Sam Docherty:   Ditto
[1.5]   Sam Kerridge:   Apart from 2 terrible mistakes by foot, Kerridge had a good game and did kick the ball pretty well.
[1.5]   Kade Simpson:   A solid Simpson game.
[1.5]   Liam Jones:   Another performance where his opponent didn’t look like getting a kick.
[0.5]   Nick Graham:   A solid game from Nick.
[0.5]   Alex Silvagni:   Until he was injured and had to go off, he also dominated his opponents.
[0.5]   Jacob Weitering:   Weitering made 2 horrible mistakes that cost goals, but otherwise did well. Also dominated his position after Silvagni went off.
[0.5]   Matthew Wright:   3 goals and it could have been more.
[0.5]   Jed Lamb:   Lamb showed enough to keep his spot on the list. His direct competitors did not.
[0.5]   Charlie Curnow:   When we got the ball near him he was pretty good. Pity we delivered it so poorly so often.

Honourable Mentions:
Jack Silvagni:   Tried hard but let his opponent run off him too easily. His marking was good.
Blaine Boekhorst:   Still patchy, but his good patches lasted for longer and contained some really good football. Now he needs to do that for a whole game.
Ciaran Byrne:   Considering that he probably shouldn’t be playing yet, he was solid in defence. When he is 100%, there will be more marks and more run.

Exposed by our lack of depth. Those out there were serviceable without many very good performances. Great opportunity for list management team.

This is a little hard to record. If you have time reconsider, that would be great.
