Good News.....
Walks does not require surgery. He will be on a modified program and eased back into training.
We are still comming. |
yep he will be back at training in 2 weeks and could play a role in the latter stages of the Nab cup |
He will be at training... in the rehabilitation group...
Nothing's fact when an injured player will resume full training. |

Need him on the field this season. He is such an inspiration and can do things other players just wish and dream of. Surgery is the last thing he needs at the moment. Pray he take time to be fully ready before he gets back on the ground. Don't rush back buddy. We will wait.
Far too many times has a player come back too soon to see themselves on the side-lines for another month or 2 rushing a return into the team. Let it all take its natural time to heal. |

Dodged a bullet there but I hope we don't rush him back. Just easing him in would be good and if he's right for round 1 then you beauty. |

Fingers crossed we're not being lied to and this is merely a ploy to ensure our membership drive is not affected.
Sorry, I watched The Conspiracy Theory last night on the box and it's had a profound influence on me
Seriously though, very relieved and hopeful he gets back soon. Tex deserves to be a part of our resurrection. |

Good news re. Walks.
Theres no need to rush him back as its still the pre season and Round 1 is still 2 months away.... There's plenty of time to get his shoulder right.. |

I went to see the boys training this morning. I only stayed for about 20mins but Walks looked ok and was taking part in the drills with the main group. He was even taking some of their hip and shoulders, albeit on his good side. |

BG who is at the match and has spoken to Icke and his brother there.
...and watched Walker come out of the rooms in tears after getting the bad news.
Good enough for you? |
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Just find a surgeon to bloody fix it properly, this is becoming a joke.
Any details on how it was done, tackle, heavy hit, falling to ground?
Absolutely gutted for the bloke. Do the full reconstruction and get him back next year. The bull$hit at the end of 2007 when he should have had an operation instead of playing on is coming back to bite us big time. |

DOA, try and keep his chin up. Shittruck news for him but at least he won't have to sit in the stands and watch us get belted every week.
Just let him know that he's the icing on the cake, get it right and come back into a team looking for the cherry on top.
Would this have been a reason why he wasn't selected in the 1's in your opinion? |

That's very sad news DOA. Our thoughts are with him and we hope he makes a speedy recovery. Although really he should take as long as he needs to get it right now.
I've lost track of the injury history with Andrew. Is it always the same shoulder he's had problems with? or has he had trouble with both of them? I know he's had other operations (stapled cartlidge), but is this his first reco? |

Walker came back very well last year after time out, like he was never missing. Hopefully the same this time. |

Spewin on Walker. Yet another setback for his development. It will be a great story if he can come back from all these injuries and win a premiership with the Blues. Best of luck to him. |
