How many times does it have to be said, no one else wants the top job
It's really simple - we made a mistake getting MM. He is an arrogant, stubborn fool who lost *most* of the players when he said there'll be a big cull of the list and then Swann went and did the same (or Swann said it before MM).
You can't get the best out of a team when you say half way through the year they're not good enough to execute his game plan - because, you know, we haven't seen it for years and years already and then say you'll get rid of a big chunk of your list. Whether that's necessary or not, there'll be no good morale when crap like that is said publicly about any team or company - it just creates uncertainty and loss of confidence.
One Million Dollars. MM is getting One Million Dollars from us for this year.
If he had any screwing conscience at all, he would hand back that pay.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, he has killed the spirit of our boys and now their confidence is shot. They are not interested because every screwing game I've been to this year, they don't know what the screw they're supposed to be doing.

And what kind of first year coach comes in and says the list needs to be culled dramatically and that it's the fault of the players that they can't follow his game plan. For a million dollars, I expect the man to work around deficiencies, build up our boys, get THE VERY BEST out of them. Ask yourself - why are they no longer interested? Murph is a shadow of himself, Yaz has zero confidence, Betts DGAF, Walker's dropped off, Waite looks over it
Different methods work with different individuals - this may give Jeffy a kick up the bum but paying out on Yaz and making him sub time and time again seemed more like trying to break his spirit than anything else - you watch some replays, particularly the North game, something definitely not right with Yaz and Eddie looking like he was trying to keep him up - we are screwed if they all leave and I guarantee that at least one of the three will become a superstar and the other two very very good.
It's up to MM to work with each player and get the best out of them, not make them look like screwwits in front of others
OMG just saw the Bummers scenes after the game we provided them with a proud great moment in their history last night. We gave them some hope and joy in possibly the worst week in the history of their club.

CFC had to win that game for us - the supporters - last night. It was a must win. Against one of our most hated sides, after the 7 months of crap they've had and in particular the horrible week they've just had.
And CFC couldn't even do that for us After years of crap and waiting and waiting. Murph used to be a gun - is he injured? If he is, stop screwing playing him. He looked terrible last night.
MM, imo, has been so rigid with this team about following his rules, that they don't think for themselves at all. Countless times I saw better options presented but no, they had to go down the wing or slow it down. Once I saw a Bomber running out of our F50 and Gibbs was right next to him, but no, he peeled off to stay with his guy when if he had've run straight at the other guy he would've forced a turn over.
We need these people to STAND UP when games are there to be won - Murphy, Gibbs, Waite. The others in Hendo, Tuohey, Scotland, Simpson all usually try their guts out. Don't blame players like Joseph or Duigan - FFS they've played how many games this year? Gibbs has played every single game and he still can't be our go to guy when the going gets tough, and he screwing well should be that guy.
Murphy needs to give back the captaincy at seasons end. I love the guy but something is seriously wrong and it's not getting better.

He gets potted on here regularly but one of the things I like best about him is he is a team player, he always goes to guys to say well done, or to stand with a team mate when the opposition are goading them - we are screaming out for guys that do this, I think it's really important.

Yep, I was at the game last night too and said to my partner they just don't seem to play their natural footy now. Whether that's the MM game plan they're still getting used to or not, I don't know, but they are definitely playing differently. I would almost think it's no confidence, but there's something more - it's like they've been told not to play their natural games and don't know wtf to do when they get the ball (most of them, not all, Walker backs himself constantly).
Our list is not crap - our list has been asked to play differently to how they have been for years and they seem to be having trouble adjusting. Even Yaz didn't fire away at shots he usually would, and stopped and propped a few times, very unlike him.
We will be okay - and screw Garry Lyon and BT and all those arseholes that have NFI - let's stick together, as Sticks said
