Playing at ANZ instead of the SCG will be in our favour because there is more space (more kicks to goal) so we have a chance of formulating a solution to restrict supply to Tippett and co.

A lot of high fives with strangers today. What a day. Great experience for the young players. As someone said earlier, I thought Duigan's attack on the ball in the air about halfway through the last quarter was huge.

Gibbs
Murphy
Judd

A winning ruck in Warnock and those three mids as our best ballwinners and its game over for pretenders like Richmond.
For us to win a flag thats how it has be for most weeks of the year..

Great win and so sweet against the over hyped Tigers...suck on that KB and I'll be tuning in to your little radio show to hear your excuses...

Umpiring was woeful as usual.....hats off to Waite...composed, disciplined and kicked straight..

Nick Duigan...another win for State League players......first Barlow and now Duigan.....

Robbo...cant kick but big heart

Anyone ever see Chris Judd show so much emotion after a goal?

Got the blood pumping.

Yep Judd was the catalyst and he liked that goal ... a lot...

I think even a champ of his ilk realised how special this was. Not so long ago his season was dead and buried along with the team.

I nearly had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time. But thought we will get away with this one. Maybe Duigan gave me the hope I needed.

What an amazing day at the 'G. Easily the best day I've had at the football for well over a decade.

An incredible atmosphere from the get go with the crowd making lots of noise well before the bounce.

Good to hear the anthem again and that roar was out of this world. 95K is a crowd worthy of a grand final and I wonder what the rivalry between these two sides would be like if we were both sitting at the top of the ladder.

The first quarter was woeful. Our structures completely collapsed. We often fall down across half forward but we were falling down across half back. I do wonder if we thought we just needed to save any damage. Betts looked like he didn't know where he was and Waite wasn't much better.

The club showed plenty of character and fight and I have a lot of man love for Juddy but boy, what a warrior and champion this man is.

Warnock again puts in a big game in a final - he is a big game player. Betts and Waite really stepped up in the second half.

The atmosphere after the win was the best since the 1999 preliminary final and maybe that was one of the best wins we've had since that game. It was so moving seeing Carlton supporters out of their seats and singing the club song, jumping around from joy that I had to record it. I felt that maybe some faith had been restored to the supporter base after we have maybe become a little disenfranchised in recent years.

Maybe this is the first step this team needed to take to show some resolve and some heart.

Well done all.

Duigan has been a masterstroke by MM

Last week provided the inside contest hardness

This week defensive half forward with 4 goals

The Club must keep him next year, because the finals are the only judge on how good a player really is...

I love the way we kept it low key.
I love how the media made it all about them.
I love how MM played the selection shenanigans.
I loved the attack on the footy and man in the 2nd half.
I loved Judd, Murph, Gibbs, Robbie, Duigs and Waity today.
That was one hell of a day at the footy.
Richmond supporters are pure and utter human filth.
