The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

Getting fit.  His groin was cactus the last time he played seniors.  Id say we are nursing him through the rest of the year, and having another look at our potential discards. He will survive the cull, and there isnt much left to play for, although he could be a late in.

We've signed him until the end of 2019.

Yes, didn't he get re-signed earlier this season?

Yes.
What he needs more than anything is senior games and with the season shot I can't understand why he's not in the ones.
What's to gain by having him run around on cow paddocks?

Maybe they think the intensity, speed and relentlessness repetitive running at AFL level will be detrimental to his recovery.

That's really the big difference between AFL and all other levels, at AFL there is no moment to recover or recuperate.

So give him less time on the ground, it's not as if we have any chance of winning.

I think we are a good chance of winning both games this weekend.

Sometimes the best way to make sure a player doesn't over do it is to simply not play them.  Two injuries can change things dramatically and like I said before we need to assess our potential discards.

If you haven't played many games lately and start getting games now get worried.

I think we are about a 10% chance of beating Essendon, our VFL midfield will consist of Palmer and Wilson with Korchek the sole ruckman so Footscray will need to be pretty hopeless
