Robert Heatley Stand / Re: 2019 AFL Rd 1: Carlton vs Richmond at the MCG: Post Game Passion
The negativity from me won't be directed at players. Charlie's, like everyone, is going to have to odd patch where he's out of form. I'll live with that. My issue is a lack of a working game plan, after 4 years, so we can score. That's a coaching issue. I see good things from individuals that make me very happy but without a functioning game plan we won't score. That's the crux and into a 4th year I want to know why.
Spot on Jim.

I really like Bolts, and I rate David Teague too, but,
after tonight I reckon we have coaching issues.
The game plan should be a lot more obvious  & progressed after 3 years 4 pre-seasons.
But it doesn't Al make sense, because it's seems we've had the same trouble for 10 years or more under 3 different coaches and at least 2 drastically different playing groups.

Polson & J Silvagni not playing, no Kennedy either, in the VFL practice  game.
@ half time the score is 50 v 37, the Tiger are still up, although  a much better qtr from the Blues. The main difference was their lift in intensity.
Matt Owies is playing in his first game. Ben Silvagni has probably impressed me the most of the Blues listed players, rarely loses in the air, and is composed with ball in hand.
Everybody has done some nice things, but overall we are too often out numbered around the contest, not organised enough either going forward and at times defending too.

Qtr time here & the Tiger are all over us. 40 v 11.
Lots of errors under strong tiger pressure.
Sitting with the elite up in the grandstand,  I have Jack & Jo Silvagni with both of Jacks grandmothers right in front of me,  Cain Liddle,  SOS, Mick Agresta,  David Teague all sitting nearby.

Amers...we cant play them all in the seniors and I dont see Kennedy replacing any of the present onball lineup.....Obrien probably has to sit and wait this season out and then Simpson and Daisy will retire
which should give him an opening back into the seniors.
Jack Silvagni, Gibbons, and Cuningham have all come from nowhere to lock in senior spots for rnd 1 and Garlett appears set for a defensive role down back........

I like Kennedy and think he is a honest handy footballer but Setterfield and Dow are ahead of him in that bigger mid role and I reckon he has to find another position like a half back flank to make him
a more versatile player.....injuries may help him get back in the team but I dont see him in our best 22 at this stage..

EB, your right, we can't fit them all in, there are some unlucky guys who are going to miss out..... it also means IMO anyway that we are going to have 1 heck of a VFL side this year, injuries pending of course!
