Murph with a hammy problem. He was grabbing at it running along in the forward 50.

Gee Carrots form under Micky is a concern

Re:  Rowe.  Might not be a superstar,  but at least he knows how to play the position

I still reckon Carrazzo is short of a gallop, if that isn't the problem, then that is a big concern. Agree with you about Rowe, his big strength is he can take a strong one-grab mark. Watson has done a couple of okay things, looks better than he did in the NB team.

Saints are a rubbish team, if we are fair dinkum, we should pants them everytime we play them.

Now Murphy is in real strife with a hamstring strain.

We have had our chances to be further in front but equally, they blew a couple of opportunities to kick goals that would of put them in front. It's like neither team knows how to win.

Big second half for us, can't let these muppets beats us again.

Making hard work of this against a very ordinary team. Still having the lapses. Rowe and Hendo looked dangerous at times, let's hope we see more of that in the 2H and that Murph's leg holds up.
Reality always wins in the end.

Tackle rate needs to be the keen focus and not letting players get too free in space. I'm happy we are in front but feel we could have a bigger margin. Judd play on instead of a shot on goal must be getting close to what Setanta did in the goal square a while back.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.

We were a lot better that quarter. We actually applied pressure and put together some okay bits of play. Still, we're a long way off.

re: Rowe....more sophisticated player than either Casboult or Hampson and a ten times better kick than either.
Has problems running out second halfs of games and keeping up chasing and tackling but in terms of skill is a better player than the other two.

Henderson at Full Forward.....good value, problem being Watson and McInnes have to learn to pick up the slack down back but I think we have to keep persisting with the structure we have tonight.

Murphy looks injured and I was going to bake him for lack of chasing etc but he cant stretch out...

Simpson...great down back but everynow and then doesnt kick well unlike Dal Santo who even when off balance finds players.

Yarran...FFS just play some basic footy and forget about the show pony stuff.

Curnow...not good enough by hand or foot...Cachia is a better player IMO...

Judd...great contesting....

Walker ..like to see him in the game more...

Kruezer..cant take a mark but is competing well in the ruck.

In saying that we have been pretty ordinary ourselves this year so I'm not surprised that it's a close game so far.

How is Gibbs playing? Is Reiwoldt injured or still playing?
Ignorance is bliss.

Yarran looks more interested in throwing punches & wrestling than playing footy.
