In Game Assignations: AFL Rd 6: Carlton vs. Western Bulldogs

The bounce of the ball will probably be a throw if the weather forecast is correct. Rain. A fair bit of rain.

Brilliant rundown tackle from harry on JJ.
Free kick....advantage and goal.

Put that down to Harry as well

Blues are on early, and are wearing their blue collars tonight....which is just what you need for wet weather footy.

Eds tackle (and goal) on Bont sends a great message.

Game 100 for Plowman.

Ran through a makeshift banner in the rooms.

Took the piss out of the cheersquad too with wonky lettering and his name as "Ploughman".

Wonder how the cheersquad will react to that.  :-X

Cripps down in the rooms - shoulder injury speculation according to the guys on ABC grandstand.

Cripps better just have a stinger in that shoulder. Can't afford him to have shoulder issues at all.

Gibbo goal sees us double dogs score.

Newnes knowing where the goals are, makes it 3 goal up 2mins to go.

Only listening on the radio.

OK.

They've shown the incident several times....can't really see anything major.

But he is definitely down in the rooms.

Very solid 1st quarter.

Solid tackling which was rewarded.

Couple of average free kicks for holding the man (both ways) but i think dogs got a goal out of one.

Only Bailey Smith showing any balls for the doggies, but blues are gang tackling.

Eds goal from a free kick was a joint effort between him and Levi.
Dogs are looking over their shoulder and so they should be. We are right on them.

Potentially losing Cripps could hurt us, but we've been pretty good across the ball thus far.

Interesting stat.
We've kicked 32 points in 1 quarter.
Tigers won today kicking a total of 34 points just down the road at the gabba earlier today.

We've done well to convert that much so far.
