Said it in the pre-game., but boyds kicking have been a HUGE disappointment so far this season.

First touch, a dinky 15m kick sideways misses the target by 2m  and turnover.

Boyds 2nd touch....lack of pace/agility/ability.....holding the ball.

He is a liabilty.
Should've gone with Martin and use Boyd as the sub.

Marking all round the ground has been awesome.
Harry, Charlie, Jack, Cripps, Kennedy all taking big marks in big moments.

What a difference an off-season and some fit players makes!

Durdin the magician has pulled CJ's pants down. The smalls are making their opponents pay the price for dropping back in front of our talls. And our talls are forcing them to make that choice.

I didn't mind Doc handballing that off to Boyd then. He could've kicked it himself, but trying to bring a struggling teammate into the game and give him his first goal.
Now, it didn't come off, but we see the length he has on his kick. Just needs to work on the accuracy.

We dominated the first quarter - Got up by 6 goals.
They dominated the second quarter - Only pulled it back to 5 goals.

Great quarter by the team to withstand the hawks and limit it to 1 goal difference.

We are growing as a team, and being able to pull together and switch gears at the drop of the hat to suit the situation.

This is a much more mature side.

More maturity and a heavy Voss stamp on mental focus. Between the ears. Backing strengths and being fully accountable.
This digital world is too much for us insects to understand.
