When we will ever be on TV?
Let's see if we get some payback against the 'Aints.

Certainly the Saints are cutting us up, no defensive pressure out of the centre, They are find plenty of free players in forward 50 and kicking the goals. STK 25 -6

Yes, they are clearly sticking to what worked last time. At least Curnow appears to be standing Steven.

Saints general field kicking and marking is making us look second rate. They find are finding targets in the forward 50 & out of defence

Taking the game on at all costs - and for now, it's working. What can Bolts do at 1/4 time ?

Defensive efforts from our mids would the first thing, they are walking out of the centre and finger multiple option forward. And please leave some one in our forward line so we at least have some one to kick to

Skill errors killing us, we can get the ball but rank turnovers are getting us caught out of position time after time.
We'd be better off if Kerridge and Casboult didn't get hold of it.

Duck off Casboult, ducking useless.  Bugger asking for draft pick just delist the clown.  Embarrassing, simply embarrassing.

Yes, I agree. I've supported him through and through. Keep him either in the goal square, between the arcs, well away from goal. Or trade him. Just kills momentum and hard work too often.

He really tries, but goal confidence is shot, has been shot for ages, and will never be unshot. Far too unreliable.

Hope not, what ever  happened with him last year when he had the goal kicking coach, he develop the confidence and it make a huge difference, so why the change? But shows he can be guided through the process.

Buggered if I know Rob. I wish I knew. I'm guessing maybe Sav wanted to work elsewhere, the club no longer wanted him, or they figured Sav taught him everything he needed to know, and it was just a matter of practice. Whichever it is, epic fail.

Tuohy is the best kick at the club and he only kicked an oval ball for the first time when he was 19 or 20, the other Irishman Byrne is a nice kick as well.
Maybe we should send our players to Belfast is the off season for kicking lessons.  :P

Might go watch The Winners Rebooted , at least we won games there and there was effort & skill, this is really a sad display. Forget 3yr rebuild we just added 2 yrs , massive clean out coming based upon the effort from 2 teams this weekend

The saints show us up as slow, soft and lacking run.  Our half forwards are awful and we carry too many crabs: the kids are the future.  Walker, Thomas, Kerridge, Casboult, Graham aren't.

Apart from Plowman the rest are list cloggers.

Absolutely the weather is the highlight. Beautiful sunny day!

Can't understand why we have the fumbles, players look knackered even Army who usually has a spring in his step seems out of sorts. Sad game to watch so far thought we were better than what we are showing

Phillips is OK too, I agree about the rest, the bargain bin is no place to find finals footballers.
Throw Walker onto the ball and tell him to give it his best shot for half an hour, none of our other mids are doing anything anyway, shift Thomas and Weitering up forward and sit Casboult on the bench swapping in the ruck.
Wright's been OK this year but he's invisible today.

We have had to bring in some cloggers in order to adjust the profile of the list.  That's why it is a very long term process. Expect a similar turnover to last year. At least we moved the 'clog' to a different place on the list bell curve

We played better against Hawks, Sydney and West Coast.

Saints probably have more to prove they're in third year of re build and push for finals next season. The season as a whole has been encouraging

Based on the performance of the ones and the twos, either someone forgot to wipe the whiteboard with the proposed delisters for 2017 still on it or they had a collective meeting and were told.

Always learn ugly wins are way better for you than honorable losses. Two awful ugly wins against Freo and Essendon kickstarted our season as it gave us belief, the close results against Hawthorn and Sydney did nothing as, while encouraging didn't provide that winning belief. A win is a win no matter how you get it and it always helps.

Our ruckmen have 5 touches and 1 mark between them. We continue to go with a structure that failed us in the first 4 rounds, what's wrong with the structure that won us games. Match committee, dumb as dog crape. We played our best footy when Phillips was injured. Kreuzer and Casboult became much better players. Now we play 2 ruck and one key forward again and 3 players suddenly turn to crape, which is alot out of 18.

His numbers were way down last year and this season have only got worse, he probably should have finished up in 2015 but not many blokes know when the time is right.
It's been sad to see him playing the way he has lately but he wasn't on his own today having a bad one.
It was Cripps, Simpson, Docherty, Tuohy then daylight.

Skills and decision making was attrocious

Won the clearances
Won the stoppages
Tackles even
Won the hit outs
Marks inside 50 7 v 27

Saints have an obvious system going forward and we are trying to find our way.

I'm getting sick of watching the same old crap from the same group of serial F ups...

Kerridge - can't hit a target by hand or foot.  Fumbles and not a clean player.
Thomas - can't run, gives away stupid frees, zero impact.  Finished.
Graham - the invisible man; sloooooow, doesn't keep his feet, misses target, few posessions he has have zero impact,  Has had enough chances, good bye.
Buckley - ibid.  Too small and light, runs into trouble, error prone, doesn't get enough of it, uses the ball horribly.  Thanks for coming, good bye.
Casboult; forwards that can't convert are as much use as an ash tray on a motor cycle.  Good bye.
Kreuzer + Phillips... are they actually going to beat their opposition rucks anytime in the foreseeable future?

Year one rebuild was intense, Year 2 rebuild would probably hurt abit.
