We lost by heaps and we were not really competitive, but there were some good signs. Getting more inside 50’s, more clearances and so on suggest we were not quite as crap as the score indicates. They were far more efficient than we were. But we had more contested ball!

Votes:
[4]   Patrick Cripps
[2]   Harry McKay
[2]   Ciaran Byrne
[2]   Cam Polson
[1.5]   Jack Silvagni
[1]   Jed Lamb
[0.5]   Lochie O’Brien
[0.5]   Sam Kerridge
[1]   Jacob Weitering
[0.5]   Dale Thomas

Explanations:
[4]   Patrick Cripps:   37 possessions, heaps of clearances, more than any 2 other players and all while not even close to fit. Cripps was amazing.
[2]   Harry McKay:   Could have had 5 or 6, but looked dangerous at all times. They didn’t have an answer for him.
[2]   Ciaran Byrne:   One of his most all round games. As the game went on, he kept running and giving it a go.
[2]   Cam Polson:   Not quite his best possession total, but a lot fewer mistakes and a couple of goals.
[1.5]   Jack Silvagni:   Solid in defence and took a great mark.
[1]   Jed Lamb:   Kept at it and kept Eddie Betts down.
[0.5]   Lochie O’Brien:   Lochie got more of the ball and was doing more with it. He has improved a lot in recent weeks.
[0.5]   San Kerridge:   A solid contribution from a maligned player. His goal was brilliant.
[1]   Jacob Weitering:   A top game until he got injured.
[0.5]   Dale Thomas:   Worked hard and didn’t surrender.

Honourable Mentions:
Matthew Lobbe:      Tried hard and managed to get more taps than I thought, but struggled to find a target as our mids just didn’t get the ball.
Kade Simpson:   Not a great game from Simmo, but he put in.
Marc Murphy:   Managed 22 possessions, but didn’t have a great influence.

Anyone else wanting to vote, please do so soon. I'll close this thread down tomorrow and total up things, assuming no late urges to vote.
