Possessions back to Freo by 30.
Murphy's 11 possessions have been 1 kick and 10 handballs. Now 2 kicks and 13 handballs.

Murphy usually does, but a lot of Carlton supporters suffer Murphy Blindness.

The two big offenders so far are Kerridge and Buckley. Pointless getting possessions if you miss targets or deliver the ball to the opponents.

Kreuzer and Phillips doing OK but we are still losing the clearances, must be the ruckmens fault! Hint, hint, Freo smashing us in contested possessions despite Murphy leading the stats for contested footy. Fans need to look elsewhere.

Fast game, Cripps not effective again so far, cannot keep up!

A poor standard game so far, Freo have certainly slipped.
Murphy having a ripper but we sure make hard work of everything we do, Buckley not giving the easy goal to Thomas was shocking.
We still can't take a mark inside 50.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

Carlton 2 - 5  17
Freo 2 - 5 - 17

Our possession efficiency is less than 50%, but their's is not a lot better.
Kerridge 10 possessions, Gibbs 9.

Freo push all players onto the ball and in defense.

Leads to a choked mess.

Combine that with some of the worst players in AFL history and you get this.

If we could just carry the ball more instead of kicking long to nobody and have a modest increase in disposal efficiency we're a chance - mainly because they're trying hard to be even worse!

Reckon dockers will come out better in this quarter though.

Missed goals may prove fatal! Same old problem but we're having a red hot go.
Reality always wins in the end.
