Imagine we won. Nothing but deathly silence from the Mickinites. :P
Ignorance is bliss.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!

Being in the 'Gong, I'm sure you know the Swans song reasonably well.

As a Mickinite... I'll be pretty happy if we win.

Hoping for some real effort tonight

With that said, reckon we might have a good 1st quarter then all will turn pooey after that though.

I actually do...I've seen more live Swans games than I've had "hot breakfasts."

Indeed. It's actually not a bad song. My next favorite after Carlton's song.

When was the last time an afl/vfl team scored 200+ in a game?
Could be the night.

A win is probably "the stuff that dreams are made of"...but I'm not sure the Swan's hierarchy would be looking forward to this game.

If things go according to the script they'll get the four points...but not much else.

They won't really learn much about their side given the weakened state of the opposition.

The expectations will be for them to crush us.
Anything less than that will look poor for them.

The "change of coach factor" often releases a bit of tension amongst a group who can actually look forward to playing "no consequence" football for a change.

We have absolutely nothing to lose...the interim coach has said we won't turn it around this week and it's just a game we've got to get through.

I'm really looking forward to it.

Carlton without Judd, Murphy and Gibbs for the first time since we recruited Judd!

Possibly the worst team we've fielded in years. Thankfully we got Hendo, Walker and Carrots back...gives us SOME experience. Could do better with Jamo though.

Even though he's lost a yard of pace and might be a little rusty, any chance that Walks can play forward ?

Here's a "Spot the difference" while we wait for the bounce. :D
