Rowe often looks lost when he's not directly playing against his opponent.  White has been fine.  Matt Wright has been very good and about the only shining light.  Cripps has been shut out.  Gibbs doesn't have a second effort.  Murphy has made some howlers.  So has Kerridge.  Weitering the only decent back - Docherty and 2E trying their heart out.

At the ground and the first quarter was good to watch.  Second not so good ESP when we tarted going backwards again. Have a hell of a lot of young inexperienced players so mistakes are to be expected - already enjoying this game tenfold than all the games MM was in charge of by the end!

Thought Murph was really good in the first then disappeared, Gibbs royally stuffed something then didn't bother following up - not a good look.

Need guys to run forward - once they made a few mistakes they got nervous - they'll come good I have faith in BB.

I don't want to hear any more crap about "being beaten in the midfield" stops us from scoring or if we lock it in the forward 50 the goals will come.

We have one goal from our forwards from 20 inside 50's

Our forward line is non-existent and non-functional....until we fix that we're going nowhere. ::)

Lods, we've had a number of chances that we have just failed to take.
Reality always wins in the end.

Comment made else where on a thread re the expats seems to be kicking in now for sure. Clear lack of forward tactics & cattle , it will slow our development if we can't quickly find a way to change that

Murph is trying, but a few stuff ups. As for Bryce, I like the good Bryce, but he is the "pick and choose" king on our list.

Yep sure was a good dive after Weitering touched his lower back. what was the 50 for anyway?

Yup, fair point. Poor Boekhorst has to playn as a leading forward FFS.

Boekhorst needs to start nailing his shots if he's going to make the grade, his field kicking is fine but he seems to get stage fright in front of goal like Jordan Russell.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

Poor execution has wrecked us just can't turn he ball over against the better teams if you want to avoid a blow out.

Surprised we are only 6 goals down. Blow out coming sadly.

Umpire paid the free downfield because it was after Franklin had disposed of the ball, and it was definitely a free kick.
The umpiring has been good, no complaints there.

Lods, we've had a number of chances that we have just failed to take.

We're watching on  a weekly basis a number of our ex-forwards kicking multiple goals....if we had just one player capable of that it would make a major difference.
It's not like the opportunities aren't there.

But the forwards are just not to the job....and we're relying on our midfielders to score.
Hopefully the remedy is slowly building itself in the lower grade...but until they're ready this will be a long season.
