How many times have we said that about Rowe over the years? :o
I dont think anyone ever questioned Rowe's effort, it was his skill and execution that he was criticised for. With Everitt, he just doesnt seem, to GAF.
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

Yes.  Exactly.

Its not the howlers, its the lack of effort. He stuffs up then just stops.

You'll find he works as hard as anyone out there, some players just look a bit casual.
No matter what sport it is it's very hard to butter up straight away after a bad mistake, only the champs can do it consistently and Everitt is no champ.
The only thing in this world worth more than a hill of beans is the Carlton Football Club.

As my old mate Laj said, you take the good with the bad.
20 touches, 8 marks, 3 goals and a power of running is a fair day's work and I'd take it every week.
He wasn't our only player to make a couple of howlers.
It's not the howlers, it's standing by watching after he makes them.
That is what looked awful.
It's all about effort from the group and then he did that.
Lazy and selfish. Luckily it didn't cost us but it could have

Yes.  Exactly.

Has no second effort and sometimes no first effort. His errors come from a lazy mindset and attitude which he lapses into.

He wont take us any further ;)...we need to sack Bolton and replace him with a coach who has finals experience, won preimierships and more importantly
has a daughter with a book to launch... :D

I was wrong about Rowe (unjustified criticism), but right about Everitt (justified criticism).

Was out for lunch today but had the game recorded on foxtel....or so i thought.
For whatever reason the game still shows up to be recorded, at the time it was played, but is somehow still waiting to be recorded!  :-\
Hadn't found out the result, big plus, but couldn't watch the game was infuriating.

So i caved and saw Ch7 was showing it on delay. Caught the last quarter.

Not sure what everitt did in the first 3 quarters, but based on that last quarter, i'd drop him.
Dropped 2 easy chest marks, and refused to chase his opponent in a fev-like moment when he not even 5m away! I did look up the stats and noticed he had 20 and 3 goals. Still...last quarters (lack of) effort could've cost us the game.

Daisy still going flat chat in the last 5 seconds of the game and showing much excitement after a goal and the win has to be infectious.

Who would've thought that we'd be the best of the big 4 after 7 games, which would include a loss to the tigers!

Still playing average football and are lucky to come across some very average teams so far. But i'll take it
