Sat near the bench. Malthouse tore strips into Thouy. Thouy walked up the boundary, came back to the bench, then Mick flayed him again. Gold.

Daisy's and Murph's runs down the western side of the ground in the last quarter were electric. Daisy inspirational.

Rowe was ordinary but he provides more flexibility than Casboult. Wouldn't mind seeing him have an extended run at it to see if he can pick up the pace of the game. I'm not confident this will happen however.

On another matter, Buckley must be half a chance for a rising star nomination?

A lot of high fives with strangers today. What a day. Great experience for the young players. As someone said earlier, I thought Duigan's attack on the ball in the air about halfway through the last quarter was huge.

Whilst he didn't take the grab, I liked Warnock's attack on the footy in the air in the last few minutes. Why can't he attack it like that every time?!
