He was one of those nobodies i pointed out pre-game we'd make a star out of because we had a backline that didn't have a matchup for.

Its never too fair to judge from afar but he just seems too quiet and lacking a voice and presence on the field. We have a lot of wall flowers already and lack senior leadership. Murphy may well be the best we have though, and that says much about our recruitment.

The captain role asks a lot of a young nan, with skills that are often not developed until later in age. So clubs pump training into them in the hope it works. But a fai r level of confidence and arrogance is needed and Murphy doesn't seem to have these qualities
