Robert Heatley Stand / Re: AFL Rd 4 2024 Post Game Prognostications Carlton vs North Melbourne
I thought Elijah Hollands had a pretty solid first hit out. He had 22 touches, 6 marks, 5 tackles, 2 clearances and a goal. I liked it.
It was nice to see double dutch out there.

Salem is another dog who" tested" Acres shoulder while he was lying on the ground in the first quarter.

Well written, even brought a tear.

We won't beat Melbourne without Martin and McKay. It's hard enough with them on the park.
Underestimate Carlton and the next man up philosophy at you peril, Paul.

I haven't washed my right hand since shaking Alex Jesaulenko's hand Round 11, 1989...but that has nothing to do with our winning games...that's just bragging.
Lucky you didn't hug him.

We find them with consistency and precision.
The boundary is also looking attractive as a sweet option.

I thought it was because of the Lions clash jumper was too similar to our jumper. That's why when our players looked up and saw a player and kicked it straight to them.
Unfortunately it was a Bears player.
It can be the only explanation.
That being the case our kicking was the best its been for over a decade!

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
I was being mischevious mate.

Lyon's coaching record is a mixed bag. Some terrific seasons, some ordinary ones. 2016,17,18 and 19 were ordinary by any measure. 16th, 14th, 14th, 13th respectively. 4 seasons in a row of lowly finishes has to tarnish the reputation somewhat IMO.
Stats can be read either way Paul.......
