Pre Game Promise AFL Rd20: Carlton vs St. Kilda

I am not feeling confident. We should beat this mob, but that assuming we have some fit players. That is yet to be determined.

They have been travelling all over the country while we have been sleeping in our own beds. Has to be an advantage.

We need height and strength. And we missed Betts badly.
They play well when both of their rucks are playing. Marshall - still in detention?

We also need a huge input of heart.

As I said, our players have checked out, big losses coming up against teams who have more pride than us and more to play for. I have also lost interest, cricket season cant come soon enough (and I dont even follow cricket passionately).
2017-16th
2018-Wooden Spoon
2019-16th
2020-dare to dream? 11th is better than last I suppose
2021-Pi$$ or get off the pot
2022- Real Deal or more of the same? 0.6%
2023- "Raise the Standard" - M. Voss Another year wasted Bar Set
2024-Back to the drawing boardNo excuses, its time

A game between the 2 most disappointing sides of the season. Both lack real pride. Whoever has the least pride might decide it.

Think I’ll give this one a miss.

Absolutely no chance in this one. We should just try to keep the loss under 5 goals. No chance.

If we get the players in that i suggested above, we will win this by 5 goals.

If we use the same players as today, then yes, i agree with you.

Such a dispirited result today, I certainly won't be looking at it.  You can't dish that stuff up and assume any interest.

Are you kidding? They showed plenty. Its Noble's first year, new system, new methods, I think they have done ok. We are clearly one of the biggest dissapointments of the year based on some of the pre season expectation. We are the leagues biggest cocktease without a shadow of a doubt.

Krudd, mate, while if McKay is fit coming in is a no-brainer, the inclusion of Charlie, Kemp and or Honey/Ramsay would require some semblance of vision. Even if we did I still think we have no chance. This is a carbon copy of last year where we lost, by memory, 4 of the last 5 including one against the wooden spooner. The similarities are scary.
