Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Marc Murphy launches a defence of his season and vows to break free of tags
Robert Harvey used to burn off taggers with pure gut running.   Hard when you train once a week with a dodgy knee.
I asked Braddles this very question at a function last year, he said:
"Run till your mans tongue is hanging out of this mouth, then run harder"
Braddles told me he used to run (ie train) 365 days of the year and still does. Thats dedication and thats how its done my friends.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Chris Yarran has gone backwards.
It was wrong to make him sub, yes a mistake by Mick.  Mick has frrkd this one up as much as many wont accept it.

You missed it.   I will give you another chance.

Goat.    How do you think the top clubs would have dealt with Yarrans behaviour?
The behaviour was a result of an action, they wouldn't have made sub, or if they did communicate exactly why and what the expectation is. Whether that happened or not we don't know.

What does this even mean? Can you re-write this in proper English. I could however take a guess and say that it is not the player's fault that he performed so poorly after being subbed. It is the Coach's fault. Correct?

If so..let's not drop anyone ever again for not meeting expectations. In fact, lets have the players pick the team..but then who do we blame if they do not perform?!

Seriously....as we say in Ireland..catch yourself on mate.

Yarran is an ADULT. Not a Boy.
He is professional adult paid via sponsorship and our Membership money to perform at his best and his coaches expectations - week in week out. If he does not put his body on the line and toe the company line then he can go and get stuffed. Talent is nothing without buy-in. We have too many Peacocks in this team already. He either steps up or he will be traded for someone who gives a crap.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: RD 19 : Blues Lose To Frockers (Aftermatch Angst)
So I woke up this morning to discover the sun came up. I had a think about last nights loss and whilst Im not suggesting anything other than it was a disgusting effort and a missed opportunity, I thought we actually did well to keep up with them for 3 qtrs given the number of passengers we had (half a dozen by my reckoning). They had a good contribution right across the board and couldnt play any better than they did. Just saying.

As a small aside - I've been watching MM's pressers all year, and I'm a little concerned - he never seems to remember players names, never remembers stats, last night didn't even know the final score. Should we be worried about this ? Because I am.
No, I was so pissed off after the game I couldnt remember the person sitting next to me, my wife of 21 years.

MM should be getting a lot of the heat really! I'm sick of his apologies!

If I don't perform in my job, sorry doesn't cut it!

P1ss him off now, he's the biggest dud of em all, should have kept Ratts. At least he was able to get the best out of our list....

Bl00dy Richmond, Collingwood, Bulldogs, Eagles reject....
Can you please state exactly what you believe MM did wrong.

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: RD 19 : Blues Lose To Frockers (Aftermatch Angst)
We lack hunger, have been thinking this for while then I turn to the TV and Ross Lyon comes on and talks about this topic. They came along with an attitude that said "we wont lose against this mob tonight" and they didn't, 4 qtrs of relentless pressure. We need to learn to bring "attitude" to games.

Having said that, a few need to be dropped:
Yarran
Betts
Rowe
Carrots

Murphy might need a run in the twos also

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Rd 19 - Carlton vs Fremantle (In Game)
I don't know if anyone was down field that Gibbs could have kicked to. Even a one on one, but not to kick that ball out of the defensive area, was disgraceful. Fair dinkum, he is without doubt the single most over rated player by Carlton supporters and the hierarchy that it has ever been my misfortune to watch. Just crap himself again, Gibbs. A weak disgrace.

 >:(
A little harsh, their small fwds are terrorising the defs like ours used to do once upon a time. Betts Garlett and Yarran worth $6 btw them tonight.
