The Bummers will likely play finals as things look atm, unfortunately. Fortunately though they probably won't be going far, especially if they have to play an Elim.
As far as next week is concerned, I'm optimistic we can beat them after the Tigers game and I'm tossing up whether or not to go as I have a ticket. The Bummers could be dangerous IMO, in the same way as a cornered rat can be vicious, so it could be a tough one, especially since it's us! I think their ferals will be right behind them for that reason - they would love to put us out of finals contention even if they get slung out.
Agree Cookie, this game is an opportunity for us to: 1. Put the foot firmly on the throat of a wounded animal OR 2. Go into a game fat headed thinking its won before its started and get rolled.

Have been watching the reply, a few of the centre square set ups were interesting (when we had our tails up in the 2nd and 3rd. Warnock, McLean, Curnow and Bell. Week after week under Ratts that was the centre square set up for the NB's. Not having a pot at Ratts, just saying.

Just on Warnock, I thought he actually did a bit more than usual in the tackling and throwing his weight around yesterday. I think his problem is that he is too nice a bloke, if he lifted his agression level a bit he would do alot better. I also think yesterday's game showed alot about what MM wants from his team, that is you need to be able to play anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Yes you will have your structural elements in place but when you are called on to do a certain job for the team, you must respond to the task not sook up and go to water. I think many did this yesterday.
