Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Round 17 Carlton vs Hawthorn-Post Match
Don't think in my 55 yrs as a Blues supporter have I ever seen a display like that. Agree Hawks are the benchmark and will win the flag again, but we seem to be at least 3-5 years away from even being competitive with the top teams.

When you look though our team last night, apart from the skipper and the next skipper (cripps), Kruez the doc and  simmo; we a very skinny on talent, strength, motivation and endevour.

Doesn't help when you have 1500 games less experience than the opposition. I try and look for some positives and I'll be honest there isn't a lot. F**ck knows what would of happened if MM was still in charge.

I look at our list and think who would get a game with the big boys and I'm struggling.

My 5 cents re trade/recruiting -

Trade - Hendo/Yarran while they have some currency. I don't think we have anyone else who we would get a deal for apart from some steak-knifes.

Draft - Must be smart and I think we will be.

I STILL CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW WE COULD OF FLUCKED UP SO MANY DRAFTS AND TRADES OVER THE LAST 10 TEARS. PAY PEANUTS YOU GET MONKEYS AND BOY DO WE HAVE A ZOO AT CARLTON

Keep the Faith....

Robert Heatley Stand / Re: Round 10: Carlton vs Adelaide Pre Game Palaver
Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer will line up for his first game since round one last year after a long battle with foot issues and three games in the VFL.

The Blues' big man has been named to face Adelaide on Saturday afternoon at the MCG, as one of three big inclusions alongside captain Marc Murphy and Chris Judd.

They have lost Dale Thomas to a toe injury while [glow=red,2,300]Chris Yarran has been omitted [/glow]along with forward Liam Jones.

 :) :) :)

We are gunna get flogged, who in the hell is going to stop Gawkins and Clarke from kicking a lazy dozen between them. Mate of mine (cats fan) invited yours truly around to watch the game!!! Said no thanks rather watch Muriel's Wedding with the missus. That's how bad I feel.

Reckon Kruze is in trouble again, hope like cluck it's a management issue.  >:D

bucks desperation gave me some hope for the rest of this season, must play every game and he will be great, thought warnock was fantastic all night poor kicking is a worry but our lapses will continue to be a drama all year.

Mcleans last game I think, that was the biggest sook act I've seen since he under 16s

My positives were bell, Buckley, Menzel,  Everett and daisy,

Negatives - to many to mention but general kicking is a big one, we are a long way off the big boys but a long way to go!!
