He looked great in there. So many clearances.Deserves a game but needs to handball more as his kicking is very ordinary, his brother played ok down back and seems a better kick as well.. Id be playing Lemmey too, he did some nice things and looks composed, Charlie can be his decoy🤐
Question is, the way things are, does he want to play in the seniors....hahaha.
The not so good:
[1] Lewis Young: after getting leather poisoning, 13 possessions in the 1st quarter, he went off injured. The way he was playing ... Don't want to go there. Hope he isn't done for the year.
[2] Flynn Young: 5 possessions, backing up after last night. Considering that he kicked the first goal, it was a very disappointing effort.
[3] Harry Lemmey: 10 disposals, but kicked 2 goals.2 clearances and 3 tackles, and 1 tap. Considering our kicking, I guess we can't complain, but I was hoping for more. We were an extremely short team today and needed our couple of talls to stand up. At least Lemmey kicked 2 goals. Cox (Coll) only kicked one, and that was from a really dodgy free. he just dropped to the ground like something dead and the umpire fell for it.

Of course the answer is, "yes"...we need to be exposing them to senior time.
Not sure about Brisbane but definitely Melbourne.
But there's a part of me that would like to keep these young guys playing together for the rest of the year and developing a bit of a connection and understanding.
It won't happen, but there's a bit of spirit there that seems to be lacking in the senior side.
Good fight back, showed ticker and corrected the rubbish kicks.
