It is always nicer voting after a win. At least I got to see the game on TV.

Team:   B
A win is a win is a win, especially when it is against the Drug Cheats. But, more than that, it was where we did not control the whole game: we were 21 points down and had periods of multiple goals to take the game by the throat. In the end, we should have won by considerably more.

Votes:
[3]   Sam Walsh
[2]   Adam Saad
[1.5]   Jacob Weitering
[1.5]   Ed Curnow
[1]   David Cuningham
[1]   Harry McKay
[1]   Eddie Betts
[0.5]   Matthew Owies
[0.5]   Sam Petrevski-Seton
[0.5]   Patrick Cripps
[0.5]   Sam Docherty
[0.5]   Matthew Cottrell
[0.5]   Marc Pittonet

Explanations:
[3]   Sam Walsh:   BOG by so far it wasn’t funny. It isn’t just the possessions; it is how he gets them.
[2]   Adam Saad:   An excellent game against his former team. Would be very happy with his game.
[1.5]   Jacob Weitering:   Took on two-Litre Peter and smashed him, providing a lot of drive in the process.
[1.5]   Ed Curnow:   An excellent game from Ed.
[1]   David Cuningham:   Cuningham loves playing Essendon. He has played his best two game against the Drug Cheats. His kicking was delightful.
[1]   Harry McKay:   Kept at it all day and finished with 4 good goals.
[1]   Eddie Betts:   The different between close and through the middle. Eddie provides something we can learn from.
[0.5]   Matthew Owies:   His 2nd game was much better than his first, and his fanatical approach to chasing and tackling was excellent.
[0.5]   Sam Petrevski-Seton:   Much better up the ground. Made some good moves and had a good affect after he came on.
[0.5]   Patrick Cripps:   This was not Cripps at his best. He made a few errors and was probably trying too hard to make something happen. But when it clicked, it did click. His goals were much appreciated.
[0.5]   Sam Docherty:   Not as many errors today, especially with his kicking.
[0.5]   Matthew Cottrell:   A quiet start but took on an opponent considerably taller and tore him a new one.
[0.5]   Marc Pittonet:   Battled manfully in the ruck against a guy with a lot more athleticism. A very solid effort from the big man.

Honourable mentions
Lachie Plowman:   Had a shaky start and allowed his man 3 first-quarter goals. Barely allowed him to have a kick after that.
Liam Jones:   His man ended up getting some goals, including 2 in junk time, but it was the other things he did that made his game.
Jack Newnes:   Solid and kept control over his position.
Liam Stocker:   Not a lot of the ball, but he did some good things and made some excellent tackles.
Paddy Dow:   Did quite well while he was on. He had less than 1 quarter and managed 6 decent possessions.
Live Long and Prosper!
