What do we need to do in order to get a fair run from the umps? The Cripps holding call, the Curnow decision, I don't even know what they called after he tackled a bloke and he threw it out, the Walsh 'sling' which was one single motion. I feel like the club  needs to say something it's beyond a joke.
We were crucified by the Umps. Some of the most bizarre decisions and non-decisions in the history of the AFL. We really were playing against extra players today. We got 14, compared to 22, but it was 1 to 9 at quarter time. When the ump wasn't giving frees, we kicked 8 goals.

JSOS worries me?

Is he injured?

The Guv comes straight back in imo.
We went off early and came back with another big bandage. I'd say he isn't 100%. But considering the effort he put in as a ruckman, he stood up.
To be honest, we have a couple of guys who might struggle to get up. Eddie Betts and Adam Saad were notable in that regard.

Jsos worked his dot off.  Relief ruckman now....

I know uts not a great game, but he just does the things that make a team walk taller and does team first actions.

And only he can fix that.
Martin was dominant in the 2nd quarter, but he leans back on his kicks for goal and misses far too many. When he has to kick through the ball, instead of trying to steer it through, he usually does better. Note: his around the corner goal was brilliant. Maybe he needs to do what H does.

Jack Martin took a mark 20 metres out directly in front and had the ball punched out of his hands...  play on.

The most influential person on the ground wasn't playing.

That was (another) shocker.

Clearly, clearly a mark.
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Not a word from the commentators either.

His first few full seasons at GC were remarkable - and he was consistent.

Yes, it's between his ears....

I'm convinced that he's carrying an injury.  It was a better effort today but he still lacks the ability to elevate for marks and step through traffic that he demonstrated at Gold Coast and in his first season with us.

Yes, there were some shockers ... like Cripps running at least 30m without bouncing, but it would have been a travesty to take that goal off him  :)

You can just about bet that's the one that will get most attention in a little 'montage' of dodgy decisions from the game.

Other club may have numerically more unavailable but given how few KP options we had that was a fair effort.

That hit from Fogarty is exactly the kind of crap the MRO is supposed to stamp out.  Grow some Christian  - just do your job and suspend him.  The crows clearly didn't get the memo when McKay shamefully got off.
DrE is no more... you ok with that harmonica man?

Dow looks so much a better player when he is allowed to play on the ball.    Let hope he spends the rest of the season there.

Can you find one other one that swings and roundabouts our way?  Yesterday was as one sided officiating as I've ever seen.  Adelaide weren't even disposing of the pill correctly and play on was the call.  One of TeX's goals was an incorrect disposal against Liam Jones and the reply shows he got the handball away.

I can think of about 6 decisions where the crows were effectively gifted goals and about 3 where we were denied goal scoring opportunities but I can't think of any other gifts we got aside from cripps running 30 metres without bouncing.

You’re right Thry, the Cripps run and goal was the only one we got away with.

I do get annoyed at how often the umpires penalise Cripps and Walsh when they are trying to take on the game.

Newnes provided us with a game saving tackle with a couple minutes to go in the last.

Yep, he sure did. But cameos won't cut the mustard if we're to be a top side.
