Heart attack at age 74.

Very sad day for his family and fans of cricket, perhaps the best hands of any keeper I've ever seen, after copping a lot of sledging in his early career that resulted in a derogatory nickname Iron Gloves, but definitely the best footwork of any keeper I've seen.

Ultimately his professional work ethic behind the stumps, moving to get himself into the correct position as early as possible was second to none, which often meant he made catches look very easy that others would be diving to glove!

There will be a lot of broken hearts in cricket circles.

You reckon LOB gets a bad rap...
Marsh was the ultimate 'whipping boy' early in his career.
I remember feeling a bit sorry for him.
But he came through it and proved to be one of our all time best.

Had he been captain at the time of the 'underarm bowling incident' it never would have happened.
