The teams that GWS have beaten don't actually make up a Cox Plate field.... An underdone Collingwood, North, WCE, Suns, St Kilda. They are not in scintillating for and neither are we. We are most vulnerable against 6th - 12th ranked teams but seem to come to the party against the big dogs. They are due to drop one, we are due to rebound!
Not if we keep fumbling, dropping marks, miss hitting up targets and refuse to man up.
Our main problem IMO is we're just fumbling too much. Don't know why, but it's incredibly frustrating and looks like it's contagious throughout the team. Fix that and we'll return to form
Got a bad feeling about this game. Too much like last year. We weren't playing that well early on but we were getting the points. Then we played the crows and got spanked. Which just happened to be in round 5 no less. Things went pear shaped from there. For a while. Will history repeat?
Where to begin on this one. Was at the game and there seemed to be a flukey breeze which seemed to also change direction throughout the night so that could explain the many missed attempts at goal? I thought we were the better team all night but just couldn't put them away. Mainly because of what we did or didn't do, but to Richmond's credit they never chucked it in. Got some significant help from the umpires but to get within a kick with 3 players down would have been encouraging for them. Havin said that it's happened to us plenty of times in the past so stuff em. Ugly win but I'll take that ahead of an honourable loss. Let's recharge now and get ready for another "should win" game
