Convincing win by the girls after a frustrating first quarter.

Solid effort by everyone and it will be hard to pick three players for votes.

Hopefully Maddy’s ankle will come up for next week.

It’s worth watching the girls just to see them sing the club song.  I know that the blokes haven’t had too much practice but some of the passion and enthusiasm shown by the girls wouldn’t go astray .
“Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don’t you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?”  Oddball

Really feel sorry for the girls. All that effort, made it through to a prelim and the season gets cancelled. Couldn't be prouder though with how the girls have gone about it this year. More enjoyable to watch than the men at the moment

That sucks absolute ass, they were humming along brilliantly. So well coached by Harf and co.

Watched the game with my 5yo boy.

Its the first game that he has ever taken a genuine interest in.

I taught him about how they do the score.
I taught him about how the quarters work.
I taught him about "#4" and how she hurt her ankle....and he was able to pick her out from a crowd.
I taught him about Georgia Gee and how she kicked 3 goals. She is now the first ever player he can recognise by name (male or female).
I taught him about finals and how special they are.
I taught him about how we are matched up against the Kangaroos, and if we win that we are into the Grand Final.

He cheered every goal, and even got excited for every behind and was looking forward to next week match.

.....and now its all for nothing.  :'(

He deserves heaps of credit, I think the next draft / trade period should also be postponed suspended.

I felt from his media demeanour he had the inkling this was on the cards, really off-field things had to go extraordinary well for this not to happen.

Have you taught your little bloke about replays Kruddler?

If not, there's some super AFLW games on the record.
Might keep the momentum up for a while.

Welcome to the passionate Bluebaggers club little fella 👊
