Re: In Game Attitude: 2019 Rd 22: Carlton vs St Kilda Reply #3 – August 17, 2019, 02:18:14 pm We really let ourselves down with some bad defensive work in the middle in the latter part of that quarter. As the commentators said, we were ther better team for most of the quarter. But we didn’t score when we should have.
Re: In Game Attitude: 2019 Rd 22: Carlton vs St Kilda Reply #4 – August 17, 2019, 02:19:33 pm Hannebery hasnt played all year and 2 games back is doing a number on us...Every player has one nemesis in the game and Cripps is Jack Steele, just cannot get free from him...Need to help Cripps and man up better in the middle.

Re: In Game Attitude: 2019 Rd 22: Carlton vs St Kilda Reply #7 – August 17, 2019, 02:22:15 pm We are playing like millionaires. Stupid hand balls to players in a worse position and kicks not hitting targets have cost us dearly.Someone needs to get hold of Harry Mackay and tell him that he will never ever be a goal kicker if he doesn't go back, stop twirling the ball around in his hands like a goose, and give himself a decent run up so that he doesn't run out on an angle and runs straight and concentrate on what he needs to do to kick straight. The bloke is so lackadaisical that it's infuriating.

It's either holding the ball, or incorrect disposal by either hand or foot. Most of the time, the imbecile umpires interpret it as the ball having been knocked loose by the opposition player. That's why they rarely pay frees for incorrect disposal.

Re: In Game Attitude: 2019 Rd 22: Carlton vs St Kilda Reply #12 – August 17, 2019, 02:35:59 pm From memory we were scorched by the umpires last time against St Kilda as well?
Re: In Game Attitude: 2019 Rd 22: Carlton vs St Kilda Reply #13 – August 17, 2019, 02:45:25 pm If there is one area of Kruezers ruck work where the bloke shows no sense at all, is his incredible ability at a centre bounce to palm the ball straight to an opposition player. I reckon he does it at least 4-5 times a game, and has been doing it for years.
