Pickett was responsible for a lot of that dog act stuff and our players did well to stay disciplined, when you look back at the undisciplined stuff Melb did it probably cost them 3-4 goals and the match. Gawn will get the blame for touching that ball through that should have been a goal and losing Melb the game but it was Pickett imo who cost them the game with some of his early dirty work and justice was done.
Pickett wanted to be the hero when he had that low percentage shot on goal which hit the post in the last, Petracca was screaming for it and there were 2 Melbourne players running towards goal 20m free.......selfish act.

Good effort, considering walker, Hendo, Kreuzer, robbo & Yarran out........continues our good form over the last 7-8 weeks. If I were PA, ESS or the cats I wouldn't be pencilling in a win just yet. Winning 1 or 2 of the last 3 will set us up for a good pre season ?
MM is trying to mould white collar workers into a team of blue collar workers and I tend to agree with what his trying to do, eg Rowe, White etc. , great win, let's hope we can continue the form(which hasn't been that bad) into the next few weeks

Love to see Casboult play a full game forward, without having to run all over the ground like a mule in the ruck for half of the game - ffs give the guy a chance to succeed. Don't see any other CHF doing it, so not sure why we expect it of Levi.

Winning scores so far have been 74, 82 and 83 this round. It will be refreshing if we come out and attack like last week rather than any defensive crape. IMHO free flowing attack at all costs is the only way to combat any Freo style defensive game plans. God I hate Lyon's coaching style, so uninspiring to watch that I turned to watching some lifestyle show with the missus instead last night ;-)
Totally outclassed and outran, bummers reminded me of the Hawks game plan on Friday night. i hate to say it but it was brillint.
I think ive said this before, but i feel that are bodies are really small (and weak) by comparison, we looked like form 1ers playing against the form 6ers.
A couple of observations, Gibbs, there was a moment in the last quarter i think it was were an opponent ran past him as if he wasnt there and he gave up his chase......good as gone imho. Also Buckley, even though he made a few mistakes, i really think this boy is going to be good, he really tries and has good skills and awareness.....heres' hoping anyway.
