Ignore, just saw the result in the hun. That free kick by CR was exquisite.

Yes agree.

As an aside, can I just say (bearing in mind my 100% perfect, unblemished record of staunch heterosexuality), I love it when you call me Pauly.  :-* ;) ;D

77 min 1-1 against France. A draw would be a bonus here as France are the big guns of the group.

2-1 in the end. The Froggies are pacy, and have great ball control, but gee they dick around with the ball, especially near the 18 yard box.

Umtiti must have thought it was real football for that split second. Nice name to.

France should be renamed the floppers.. I might be biased but they spent more time checking the quality of the lawn seed than playing.... :P
Was waiting for Timmy Cahill to come on and sneak that miracle goal.... :(

Soccer is rubbish, Hernadez just confirmed it for me, and our commentators support him while selling us up the river on the video review! It's an ingrained and coached behaviour, cheating behaviour that has become cultural and institutionalised!

France would be crap if it wasn't loaded with dual national Africans or Spanish, but the whole sport is like that in Europe, not good to get a game at home, grab a player from next door or import an international!

By the way, the VAR and refs need to explain how the spin axis of the ball changed in mid air without any contact from a boot!

The politics of sport, you can call a dubious penalty from the digital data, yet you can't hand out a red card for clear staging using the very same technology! How can it be that works both ways?

Love it when it comes around every 4 years but don’t follow it as avidly as some in between times.

All I see is borderline decisions going the way of the countries who are expected to do well. Every.single.time.

It's no different to AFL, just on a more international scale!

Professional sport is not fair, and IMHO even the Olympics have become bent!

What ?  Like no penalty being awarded against Germany vs Mexico ? You mean like that ?........compared the the one awarded against us, that was blatant ...
