Are you on drugs Krud?

No but maybe i should be.

Seem to be a few people who really rate this kid, including after tonights effort.

What i see is some rookie mistakes time and time again.

He does things that are good. He does things that are terrible.

The way i see him could probably be best summarised by Kerridge tonight.

Kerridge had 2 shots on goal.
One danced around 2 players, couple of steps, bangs it from 55. Goal.
Second, similarly dodged and went bang from 50. Out on the full....by a fair margin.
Kerridge had 22 touches - good
only 7 were contested - average
5 clangers for the night - terrible.
0 tackles too - terrible (he and mullet were the only 2 with 0 tackles

Whatever there is to like about Byrne, there is just as much to not like....including his body holding up to the rigours of the game.

Kennedy is way better. He wins his own footy

Agree, but his ball use is very average and he is slow.......
Lang is lazy and wants the easy ball.....

That's the key isn't it.....
For a 21 game player he goes OK....but the fact that he's only played 21 games in four years counts against him.
Doubt he'd be discarded at the end of this year so hopefully he gets a bit of continuity next year.

I wish we had another three or four as good as him.

First year he came over from Ireland never having played the game so counting that is a bit rough, last year was a knee reco.
When he's fit he plays seniors, the club has a very high opinion of him.

Yep, dead end player, he looks like he is an "I'm Satisfied with my Goal a Game" type.

We don't need them!

I thought Matty Wright was safe for next season but if we recruit another small goal kicker he might struggle to get another contract, wonder if he would play as a rookie?
He was out of the game a bit tonight and isnt hitting the scoreboard enough....

Been playing hurt for a large chunk of this season.

He was rested not long ago, and was looking a spent force both before and afterwards which is about the time his kicking started going wayward.

He's safe enough but let's hope his form slump was just that.

Agree on Lang - he pissed me off tonight he did screw all.

Byrne just has that something g about him - assuredness. I like when The balls in his hands.

Thought Mullett and Kerridge played okay but probably knew they were on their last chance.

Over holding on to lazy players - they can bugger off.

Kerridge, Mullet, Lamb, Lang. Been saying it since day one Lang was a terrible draft, the excuse he had no preseason is nonsense in my opinion. He has not shown an ounce of reasoning to suggest why we drafted him. The others we all know are seat warmers.

Judge these blokes on the first half of 2019.....

Hard to fire up in RD 23 when the season's been dead for months....
Finals, then 4 in a row!

Jack Silvagni might struggle for a game next year as well, he showed promise early on but he's flatlined, doesn't get much of the ball, lacks a yard of pace and his foot skills are nothing special.
Hopefully Ben is a better player.

A lot of blokes give effort to the end, Lang is just keeping a spot warm for a real player!

He's the type of player that pops up and turns a 5 goal win into a 8 goal win, but when your 5 goals down with a quarter to play he'll go missing because he lacks drive! A perennial footsoldier!
