Decent start from the boys. Fighting it out in a rough battle.

Wright kicks the first goal of the game after putting his head over it.

A couple of decent fwd 50 tackles early on. Need to keep up the pressure.

Kruezer is still injured. It’s so obvious he’s restricted. Have Phillips as a back up but nope don’t use play an injured player instead.

Pack of dumb kents.

Brown is another Lynch story, just too big for our blokes who just want to hold, block and give away dumb free kicks, Jones needs another player to help him out.
Ziebell playing forward on Mullet is another disaster matchup....

Cripps captain and we get that for a quarter.

Probably everyone lining up Murphy's captaincy can get back in their box as that was one of our worst quarters for the year.

Yes, it was one year where I felt a bit excited that we could finally start to move up the ladder. A positive pre-season, very good first game against the premiers then this crap. What a letdown..............again!

A real look at a midfield without Gibbs and Murphy.    We don't miss them with hard bodies like Graham in the wings.

Our midfield now bats one deep.

Kennedy remains a concern.

We had 2 years of ordinary nothingness under Mick, then the 3rd year turns to sh1t. We had 2 years of ordinary nothingness under Bolts, and the 3rd year looks like turning to sh1t.

Interesting ............

We've had one period of enjoyment in footy since 2001, between 2008-13, which gave us some hope and fun. That list was never that good though beyond the cream on top so we were never going to win the big one, but at least you got to look forward to the footy each week thinking you were a shot. We need that period, where there was real effort and commitment combined with some of the players we have recently drafted.

your right, but in a parallel universe, im happy tigers reached the heights we thought we'd get to, despite at times being ahead of them.

Its certainly looking that way. But you could say that about alot of our players at the moment. Fumbles, missed kicks, missed hand balls, turn overs, dropped marks, slipped tackles, led to the ball at nearly every contest. I am struggling to find anything we are doing well. Skill errors and positioning is killing us. When a bloke like Jed Anderson plays well against you, you know your in strife. Just a team bereft of confidence on every line. Its hard to single out culprits, they whole team is terrible. Even Cripps, he's been good but he's been bad at the same time. The fiasco in the fwd line was embarassing.

Don't worry GTC. Further to my earlier reference to history repeating, we'll probably get to R8, be sitting at 1-7, then Bolts will be sacked, just like 2015. Barker will take over, we'll win the spoon again, and on it goes.

Very very poor skills execution and awareness are our undoing atm. We were better in the last 10 mins but failed to gain any meaningful reward for our efforts. A pretty toxic half of footy as far as our morale is concerned I'm afraid. We desperately need some kind of inspiration, divine or earthly!

I actually think this is Dow’s best game to date, albeit his benchmark to date is low. Silvagni has tried hard and is far from our worst.

We’ve got absolutely nothing from SPS, Kennedy, Fischer, Cunningham, C Curnow.

O’Shea is nothing short of horrible and is in the Lamb and Polson league.

I want results now, screw the early picks. We've have first round pick after first round pick, we had 5 blokes who won rising star nominations last year, now all I want is phuking attitude and commitment. First picks won't give you that. That has to come from within the club. Enough is enough. We've built a list I now, as a member, demand results.

Have to say that non-free-kick in the second when we had a bit of a run on was the worst one of it's kind in living memory. A guy gets tackled does the 360 then outs the ball on the ground before hand-balling off. Play on! Freeking hell. That eventually led to their first goal in the quarter and the rest is history.

360? He went at least 540 and got away with it.

I really don’t understand how umpires determine free kicks.  What happens at one end of the ground is a free and the same thing at the other end is play on or a ball up.

Not that it would make a huge difference to the result but it would be a closer contest.

Our game plan:
Kick 40m, hope someone is there
Everyone at the drop stand still and wait to see what happens
Let north get it. keep standing still
North run away with it, follow slowly.
Hope defence gets back in time to cover.
