Robert Heatley Stand / In Our Next Premiership Side
We're a bit off the pace and we're at the rebuil... err regenerating stage of the lifecycle. No question the older generation won't get its flag.

Who will form out next premiership (or contender) side:

Me:

Buckley
Yarran
Menzel
Docherty
Cripps
Henderson

Gibbs to go, Krooz borderline to be there.

Blah-Blah Bar / Saving the Budget
In crisis? Not in crisis?

Broken promises? Just doing what had to be done?

More required? Just politics?

Its been to nice in here with Carlton winning. So the can of worms is now open... Go at it.

Robert Heatley Stand / R3 Essendon V Carlton - Prematch Posturing
Essendon vs Carlton (Away game)
Sunday 6 April@19:10 (note start time)
MCG

Arch rival and we desperately need a win otherwise our season is looking very shaky. Essendon finished up strong but we were reasonable in finishing so hopefully we can carry some form into this game.. Jamo will need to continue his form and we'll need Gibbs to hit back and impact this game to be any chance.

Walker straight back in and to the forward line please. Buckley to have first go at his old gig

Go at it.

Robert Heatley Stand / R2 Richmond V Carlton - Prematch
19:45, Thursday March 27 @ MCG (away game)

Back to the MCG where we can actually win and against our bunnies for the past 5 years. Good way to bounce back after having to lick our wounds from a bit of a hiding.

Plenty of scope for changes. Go at it...

Robert Heatley Stand / Key Players 2014
Who is the player who needs a good year for us to be any good?

For me, Murphy. We can talk about Gibbs or special K coming good or more from lesser lights but class wins you flags and if this guy doesn't tear it apart I expect a season similar to the one just past.

Robert Heatley Stand / Will 2014 Finally be the Year of BG and MK?
I'm going a bit early with this one.

Mainly because I expect, like every year, we'll hear reports about how they've come back from their break in incredible nick and how amazingly these guys are travelling during the preseason.

But every year, they come back to the fold and never consistently take the competition by the scruff of the neck.

So, for our number 1 picks who haven't lived up to the hype just yet, will 2014 be the first year where they move on to big things or will be it the case of the same old output?

Robert Heatley Stand / RD 21: Richmond v Carlton (Pre-game Prayers)
Richmond vs Carlton
Saturday 17 August 2013@13:45
MCG

No Judd, Tigers with 5 years of beltings in their memories and no doubt they have pay-back lined up. Maybe we can get a deadcat bounce after last night's humiliation but I fear the worst. Richmond by 10.

The Sports Desk / Stuart O'Grady retires then admits to doping
No surprise really.

Quote
Cycling Australia (CA) says Stuart O'Grady's doping admission is a "real disappointment" but it is confident the sport can regain public confidence.

O'Grady admitted to using the banned blood-boosting agent EPO before the 1998 Tour de France, the confession coming just three days after he announced his retirement form the sport.

Robert Heatley Stand / RD 17 : North Melbourne v Carlton (Pre-game Jibber-Jabber)
Apparently there's a game next week.

North Melbourne v Carlton
Friday, July 19 - 19:50
Etihad Stadium

A win puts us temporarily in the 8 and if St Kilda beat Port, we stay there (assuming West Coast don't give Sydney a frightful flogging).

Does Carrots start as sub? Does Watson get another gig?

Robert Heatley Stand / What's Eating Andrew Carrazzo?
Yes, Carrots missed a huge chunk of the season (8 weeks?) but he is in ordinary form and from memory, he had a full preseason but was in just as bad form to begin the year.

Found himself with a red vest on last night - this is quite a fall from grace after being the best one-on-one player in the game. Is it missing out on the captaincy? Is it the triplets? Is it Cachia taking part of his role?

Whatever the problem, I just don't see us being a good side without significant input from Andy.
