Please please Lord, banish Sons of this Satan.

Putrid followers who decorate themselves in blood and blackened faeces, spawn of the damned, for they are the children of evil, false gods, D-Grade Satans, sons of perdition, little whores, who bring only darkness, hatred, loathing and largely unjustified fear to those around them as they are nought but bullies.

Bring us the bright white light, a light ablaze on a heavenly deep blue, so that we may see our way clear to everlasting joy and happiness.

In this we pray.

It's not going to end well, the cost to the USA will be high, socially and economically.

I've always thought Trump is the type who is prepared to burn down his own house rather than admit wrong doing, and that opinion is only stronger now.

No matter what you think of the US Political and Judicial process, it can't be denied that Trump is fundamentally a horrible horrible human.

No matter what his supporters think, Trump will never be found in the front row of the protest, he'll be hiding safely in the back row at a distance, throwing stones and collecting as many of his own supporters as he does opponents.

Having a convicted felon running the country seems appropriate for the USA.
Don't think the verdict will change many the voters minds..
Agreed, it's more about technicalities and legalities now, for example can Senators legally associate with a known felon?

Does a felon have the legal power to enact laws and procedural changes in government, etc., etc.?

I agree it doesn't change the vote much, the USA seems to be a society that thinks anything and everything has a price, including guilt, revenge and forgiveness. Perhaps it should be renamed JUDAS, it already has 3 of the 5 letters and plenty of silver!

I thought the Voss presser was impressive, especially the discussion around holding Cincotta on Butters.

The media always bang on about should you do this move or do that move, rarely considering the costs of getting it wrong, but the presser showed Voss is in good form at the moment because he wasn't simplistically reactive, we took the win on Butters and didn't burn it trying to stop JHF.

Having said that I didn't think it was a great game for either coach, they sort of went in with a plan and stuck to it, almost like heavyweights gauging the opposition in the 1st Round. I suspect that's a sign they expect to meet at the pointy end of the season, neither have given too much away.

Strange move from Hinkley imo and I thought Wines contributed well early when not in the ruck but tired when he went in the ruck and that move helped us both in the ruck contests and around the clearances.
Yes, I suspect a few of Hinkley's players are underdone and/or carrying injuries, because I thought the same about some of Hinkley's weirdness and couldn't explain it! It's like they'd work hard to win momentum then just surrender it a moment later.

Almost the AFL equivalent of a game of checkers, not sure it was a great night for either coach, but our players were switched on and supreme.

I have to laugh at LP’s fears about opposition rucks setting out to harm Harry.
Don't jinx us!

You often post about respecting opponents, then you lightly dismiss the opposition's prime battering ram.

BigH's main advantage is his mobility and acceleration for a player his size, a ruck injury could end all that.

If I'm not mistaken, BigH is a twin, and his twin brother Ben has already had two minor PCLs.

Fantasia was pretty good on Saturday.  He had some critical possessions deep in defence and his pass to Harry for a goal was outstanding.  He's still not hitting the scoreboard himself though.
I thought it was his best game for us so far, but off a low base.

Still very worried about his lack of physical contesting, for me it's not a game style that stands up in finals, you often see him lurking in the background at stoppages, rarely moves forward into the traffic, even when the ball spills in his direction he seems to back off waiting for it to be delivered.

I much prefer the likes of Acres, Cottrell even Owies, because even if they aren't able to break through at the stoppage they still have a go when they have to.

Hardwick did make one pertinent point; 131 tackles were laid for very few free kicks.  A lot of those tackles were relatively meaningless, repeat efforts in congestion, but more than a few should have been rewarded with holding the ball free kicks and some should have been punished for holding the man.
Coaches all want a different version of the rules, the version that favours the own game style, don't listen to coaches, listening to coaches is even worse than listening to the media.

Coaches won't even give a consistent interpretation at different ends of the ground!
