IIRC, Most teams have performed poorly after playing us. Lets see how Melb go next week. Having said that, all games are tough these days, we seem to be recovering well and I expect us to recover well for the Syd game.
I was thinking the same re playing us, such a pain we didn’t get those wins!

I feel reasonably confident about Syd, I feel we mostly play well against them and have no issue with playing them up there in Syd either.

That was ours to lose - and we did 🙄

Think we panicked early and then couldn’t make up ground.

Umpiring was putrid and whoever said when the calls are made the Cats just get on with it whereas we didn’t, not what I saw.  In fact a few that should’ve been called for dissent thst just sail thru like a lot of the run Geelong got today. We got zero reward for our efforts and they were able to kick out of bounds with no penalty, hold the ball long after being tackled and/or dropping it without penalty too.

That being said, we were a good chance to snatch it until some strange 50m penalty to give them more breathing space 🙄

Need more pressure in our forward line, they were MIA badly.

The defence looks unsure, not confident and lacking a structure.
Saad and McGovern are desperately missed.

The forward line is also a dog's breakfast.
Curnow is getting swamped...which means there should be loose options.
Charlie is constantly getting 3 on him - where are our guys to open space!?

It’s like we’re playing dumb at times - we need to work on that and absorb pressure - we’ve always struggled with it so time to absorb and rebound.

I still feel we have a good chance

And yet Cotts covered more ground than anyone (again) with 15.9km. People might not think so but he plays his role every week, sometimes its a sacrificial one which utilises his running power.
Agree, love Cotters endeavour and am sure, as has been in the media this week, he sacrifices his own game to allow others to maximise theirs - for the betterment of the team.
