Robert Heatley Stand / Re: 2018 Rd 5: Pre-Game Pessimism: Carlton vs West Coast
At some stage or another, our MC and coaching panel are going to have to put their ego aside and play talent. Cunningham omission is quite frustrating. As a member, I would like to know what benefit there is by not allowing cunners to string 5-6 games together.
It just seems that we have all this talent but don’t have them playing in their positions

On a side note it will be interesting to see how Dow v Davies-Uniacke go in this game. Neither has set the world on fire so I'm expecting one or the other to improve significantly to earn some cred re their draft order selection. Hopefully our boy shines through.

Our boy can’t kick! It’s stupendous that we picked a kid at #3 and he can’t kick. Call me crazy but I fear we may have made a grave error.

I was happy with my own performance today. I managed to "trigger" every pies supporter in a 20m radius lol

I ran my mouth for 4 qtrs straight and finally got to them with about 5mins to go in the last.

It was glorious!!! Complete meltdown!!!

And I didn't even have to cuss, the scoreboard did the job.

The game was there for the taking. We had our nose in front, tails up and then a midget laid out our ruckman. Game changer right there, coupled with a shocker from Gibbs and serious brains fart from Murphy = 0-2.

Casboult had a shocker that was masked by that goal in the last, Armfield should never, EVER!!! play a game for the blues again.
Smedts wasn't bad, had some great moments but kicking is woeful. Curnow did a job on Lewis. Pickett, I'm not sure, when he's on he's great and then disappears for 2 qtrs.
SPS learned how not to play the game. Marchy and the Plow were serviceable. Rowe did well on Hogan. Simon white- see armfield.
Curnow will benefit from a week or 2 in the seconds. The general was ok. SOJ - has to learn how to lead. Ffs how can none of our forwards lead. Fūck me sideways, which is it so hard to lead?!?
Oh, Big Matty Wright had a great game.

Anyways, I will go drown my sorrows now
