AFLW R5 - Carlton Vs North Melbourne - Sat 7:10 @ Tassie February 21, 2021, 04:57:37 pm Next weeks fixture has been revealed and we are up against the Kangas down at Tassie. Not great having to play against them, but they are currently in a slump so the timing is probably right.I predict a couple of changes based on last weeks effort.Out: Edwards, Downie (managed/dropped)In: Loynes, Gibbs (Debut)Lets see what happens.
Re: AFLW R5 - Carlton Vs North Melbourne - Sat 7:10 @ Tassie Reply #1 – February 21, 2021, 05:52:35 pm Let's hope the MRP doesn't impact the result! It's funny game AFL, last season I think we were lucky to win some games, but we did and that is all you can ask. This year we look less polished in general but our best footy makes us look like we should be winning, we just aren't putting it together regularly enough.I think Rnd 1 took the wind out of our sails a bit, and set the Filth rolling, that was a cracking start to the season. We are playing better each week.We have better players playing each week. We are still somewhat out of form.We are building... and we have enough time to build. Its better doing it that way than what north have done which is start like an all conquering, unbeatable beast.....to missing out on finals 1 Likes

I wish we were on TV, as I just can't get anything on the 'net at the moment.

Re: AFLW R5 - Carlton Vs North Melbourne - Sat 7:10 @ Tassie Reply #9 – February 27, 2021, 07:13:05 pm And we're off.....and a former Carlton player gets the first goal. KGJ.
Re: AFLW R5 - Carlton Vs North Melbourne - Sat 7:10 @ Tassie Reply #10 – February 27, 2021, 07:14:32 pm How the hell was KGJ NOT penalised for incorrect disposal.Gab Pound was tackling her while she took like 10 steps.....and then just dropped the ball.Worst no-call ever.....and another goal to North.....well 1 to the umps.

Re: AFLW R5 - Carlton Vs North Melbourne - Sat 7:10 @ Tassie Reply #14 – February 27, 2021, 07:39:48 pm How have we been penalised for having our doc checking on Odea after the big hit that had the commentators suggesting she was knocked out.Where is the 'commen sense' rule? No longer in the rule book??
