Hard to argue with that MBB. Send Jed Lamb to Hodge to antagonise and goad him. Pinch, punch and niggle til he snaps. Curnow to Beams, Cripps to smash Zorko at every ball up, Murph to play a game in the guts instead of HB. Need Samo to rediscover some of his first year spark.

I actually don't mind the team we've selected, may have put McKay in for Silvagni and possibly Lang in for Polson but hey, can't make too many changes can you?

I'm hoping for a win today, but expect an ugly game. Would be great to kick 12-13 goals though with Kerr, Curnow, Meat and Wright we have some scoring power.

Now we have to get it to them quicker and be more efficient  I50 and we'll give ourselves a shot. Silvagni looks pegged for some midfielder minutes as I think he has been named in the guts to start. He'll be working on that tank of his for the rest of the year. Want to see him do well.

Is there any chance of Graham getting a few games in a row to see if he can earn himself another year, or are his papers stamped? Has proven far too good for the VFL, but seems to struggle with either the tempo or confidence in the 1's.

Given our 22-26 age bracket deficiencies they may yet earn another reprieve. Graham was a great junior and Morrish medalist and Kerridge has kicked a bag of goals once. Aberration?

Great to get some guys back from injury. Particularly Pickett, really have missed what he offers in the seniors. And would be great to get Kennedy in to give our midfield another rotation. Only if fully fit of course.

Want to see Cas smash through packs, Kreuzer and Phillips really dump the cows mids, a few Dusty like fend offs from Cripps, Dow sprinting out of a few centre clearances with ball tucked under arm, Gibbs absolutely poleaxed a few times, and Betts to have zero touches, tackles, goals etc. And a decent contest please. I don't ask for much but hey, fella can dream

Positively masochistic!
;D Been in pain since the early 2000's, with a brief breath of fresh air when Judd came across, then back to more pain since Ratts was given the boot. Although not having won a game in our last 14? Outings I am sticking fat and being patient.
The amount of top end talent we have is absurd. Another 50-60 games together and we will be rewarded.

Problem that we will deal with as does every bottom club is player retention. Free agency has sorted it good and proper. Our jury list atm is concerning as well. But this "reset" is going to have its ups and downs and right now we are in a very down period. Only way is up from here. Must sign Cripps to a 9 year $8 million deal  >:D and give him the captaincy with Doc next year

Would've kept Lamb in for JJ. But hopefully the in's can bring a bit more to the table and break our duck for the year. Hope Kennedy isn't underdone again.
Was really impressed with Phillips and Zac Fisher last week. I think Fish has progressed further than SPS and the latter has stalled after a promising first season. Still love em both.
Want to see competitiveness and want to make the Dogs earn every goal.
Also wouldn't mind seeing Matty Wright hit the scoreboard ffs, has been playing a bit higher the last couple games and I reckon he reads the play real well, couple cheapies out the back would be good. Blues by 14

I was actually quite surprised at how well H-Mac moved across the surface. Really damn quick and agile, and I must say although not receiving as much kudos as Cripps and H, A Phillips attacked the game, the ball and the player with such gusto that I was excited by his return and forgot Kreuzer was injured.

Really loved what Sauce brought to the table against a formidable duo in NicNat/Lycett.

Could we play Sauce and Kreuzer together? Kreuzer could be another mid around the stoppages and offer a bit of protection for Fish and Cripps. Fish and Cripps with Sauce and a side of Matty K sounds good
