Will laugh if Weiters gets a fine and Toby cops a week for a dangerous tackle. It certainly looked dangerous, hence the remonstration from the Carlton players.

Acres would be a huge loss. If that happens, I can see us playing Doc up the ground and possibly on the wing.

I think Motlop comes back in as his form in the last few weeks was very good. Can't see us going with all 4 of him, Durdin, Owies and Fogarty so at least one misses out.

The one ruckman ploy should be dead and buried now. JSOS is unlikely so Pittonet simply has to play. Harry is not, and never has been, a ruckman. Easily pushed out of the contest and coming back off a knee injury that was a risk IMO. If nothing else, Harry can play as a high forward and push up the ground...early in the season when he wasn't kicking goals, he was taking a lot of contested marks up the ground.

Fisher's run as a defender should also be over. If we want to play another small defender, I'd have Boyd in there ahead of Fisher...uses the ball much better. Fisher is very one sided and he got caught out a few times.

Hopefully Acres and Weitering are both good to go. On the assumption that they both are, I'd have Cripps, Doc, Pittonet and Motlop back in. Fisher, Fogarty, Durdin and one other out.....maybe Dow gets pushed to sub and Marchbank goes out? Although Sydney can load up with McDonald, Amartey and McLean so Marchbank might be an option.

I thought Dow was good early yesterday and showed some good breakaway pace but was caught out after half time.

Hewett was good last week when Cripps was down....I'd definitely have him in the 22.

I like Kruddler's line up....but maybe Dow in ahead of Fogarty. Fog's been really good but Dow would be very unlucky. Regardless, I can't remember the last time we were talking about who to include and who was available, and who to leave out. If Kennedy is fit, then it's pretty much only Silvagni and Williams unavailable.

Tough selection choices this week if all of Cerra, Walsh and McGovern are fit and ready to go.

1. All 3 in at the expense of Marchbank, Cunningham, Hollands and Ed...and have Hollands as the sub? I'd be sticking with Dow.
2. All 3 in but Dow goes out, Docherty back into defence and Cincotta out.

Can't remember the last time we had this sort of "problem".

Had it on pretty good authority that Cripps was lucky to play. Copped the knee from Petracca in the ribs/sternum late in the game last week and clearly played very sore.

An ugly win....but we only needed the 4 points and we got them.

Another huge game from Newman and Fisher also really good again.

Not sold on Ed as the sub going forward....he turned it over quite a few times in the last quarter. And Marchbank still looks a bit shaky and a bit slow at times. Maybe it's just because he's missed so much footy but he'll need to be a lot sharper if he's going to hold his spot in the next few weeks.

I think if Petracca's kick had been ruled a goal last week, and we'd lost, the discussion around H would be more about getting him back in because of Charlie getting double teamed in the last few weeks. I'd be playing him this week and next...then he's got a week off before finals, if we get there.

If JSOS plays and is in the 22, it's hard to see who goes out but Pitto might be unlucky....but IMO we need him up against Witts this week.
