Walker has made a couple of very bad blunders.
We were two goals up when time-on started, siren sounds to end the quarter and we are 8 points down. FFS, have to get better at protecting our scoreboard position and not let the opposition burn us with junk-time goals.
Walker has been good for nothing in the first quarter. I'm not convinced watching him defend. He can't spoil, and shanks his kicks either out on the full or directly to the Dockers players. Shift him into the middle and shift Murphy there too. Not happy as we were playing well and gave the Dockers space to pinch the last 3 goals of the quarter. Have a look at the grilling Robbo is getting from Mick. That look, that stare.
Yarran disinterested. Betts nada Garlett letting tackles slip. Hendo getting pantsed by Dawson.
Doing ok in the ruck with Kruezer and Rowe but their small forwards in Walters and Ballantyne are tearing us apart...AW is having a tough time and Touhy isnt slick enough for Ballantyne.
Would be interested in Nick Suban...nice kicking small defender who has a solid frame and been impressive.

Cachia twice has made poor choices for disposal which were uncharacteristic for him, he did all the hard work to get it and for some unknown reason just did nothing with the ball.

We have a lot of good players playing poorly and are only 10 points down. Murphy, Gibbs, Betts, Garlett, Yarran, Henderson, Walker and Kreuzer can all do a whole lot better. They're all our matchwinners really. I don't think we're out of it.

Firstly it's a tough hard contest.
Secondly we still can't stick a tackle. And it's the same culprits every week. Garlett, Yarran, carrazo who was useless till he went off, as he has been the last three weeks. walker who is a champion at falling over and nothing much else. Oh, I forgot. Flying for the specy missing 99 out of 100, and kicking to the opposition. He's a champion at all of those. I would have put Gibbs in this non ability to stick a tackle column, but he's so gutless that he won't even try to tackle. And he's non-negotiable as far as trade goes. How anyone who has any knowledge of what is required to play at the top level, can possibly defend his position in the team is beyond me. I have been watching him when he flies, if you can call it that, for a contested mark. he can't mark them because he doesn't even try to.
I'm told he is being placed in the Sistine Chapel and they are removing the statue of David. Because that's what he is, a statue.
I have nothing but the greatest admiration for him as someone who has conquered cancer. I have personal experience with that disease. But this isn't about how great he's been overcoming the disease, it's about his capacity to offer our team a competitive big man when we need one. And he offers nothing.
Please Mick, bring Levi back into the team. At least we all know that he can take a pack mark, which already puts him way in front of Rowe.

I remember at the start of the 1964 season, which was our centenary year and we finished 10th. But there was a bloke called Gordon Collis who played centre half forward in 1963. he was switched to centre half back in 1964 and won a Brownlow that year.
Could Watson become our next Gordon Collis, but in the opposite direction. In 2014 move him from the back line to our forward line.

There is some good news, Haddin has taken a ripping legside catch to dismiss Cook and the Poms are now 4/108.
We have no structure up forward, we hope KAOS rules due to our smalls and it always so chaotic in there. When they get the ball they have structure and always seem to have an overlap or extra player in the play.
When we tackle they always get the ball out just like Walker did but without a free.
We should go man on man more often.
