Anyone want to explain why we are getting shafted from prime time whilst the Tigers are favoured?

We are sitting 4 points ahead of them on the ladder and only get the away gig vs Collingwood as our premium time slot.

Couldnt understand it either, its like we draw no crowds or supporters and have been written off with the season not even half way through and the Tigers after one win vs a injury hit Geelong are suddenly back in town?

Perhaps the powers  that be have decided that any side that can produce the rubbish we dished up in recent weeks can't be trusted not to do the same thing again and thereby destroy ratings.

They know we will turn up and tune in whenever our games are scheduled, it boosts their bottom line because they can move spud games to when people are desperate to watch something/anything.
Let’s go BIG !

The games are also based on the opposition.

Pies Friday night
Dees Sat night
Saints Sunday 3:20 which will be on channel 7.

Port Saturday twilight.

The rest of the matches are duds.

We could play a squad with 22 duds and we would still out rate 90% of the competition.

The Sydney based broadcast executive takes advice on which games to cover from it's staff and public feedback, as long as the likes of BT, Jab Snr and Darcy are offering up feedback and advice we'll suffer this fate, they basically continue to spread the bullcrap that our games are boring and do not rate as a spectacle compared to the others, and that the B-Grade calling of our games is a function of the Carlton being involved!

Tigers are less likely to go winless for the rest of the season and/or sack their coach.

why would you assert that?

Because any other team is not Carlton.
We are the kings of coach sacking.
We fell off a cliff last year too.

Not saying it would happen, but if it was to happen to one or the other, it'd be us.

My point is based on current data there is no reason for us to miss out on prime time and allocate games to the Tigers.

Not that I care im off to Europe on the 17th of June for 8 weeks.

The Tigs don't deserve any prime time, but then, do we? Not the way we're playing.
