Re: Round 9 Sydney v Carlton - Pre Game Thread Reply #161 – May 29, 2015, 06:48:24 pm A win is probably "the stuff that dreams are made of"...but I'm not sure the Swan's hierarchy would be looking forward to this game.If things go according to the script they'll get the four points...but not much else. They won't really learn much about their side given the weakened state of the opposition. The expectations will be for them to crush us.Anything less than that will look poor for them. The "change of coach factor" often releases a bit of tension amongst a group who can actually look forward to playing "no consequence" football for a change. We have absolutely nothing to lose...the interim coach has said we won't turn it around this week and it's just a game we've got to get through.I'm really looking forward to it.
Re: Round 9 Sydney v Carlton - Pre Game Thread Reply #162 – May 29, 2015, 07:08:25 pm Carlton without Judd, Murphy and Gibbs for the first time since we recruited Judd!Possibly the worst team we've fielded in years. Thankfully we got Hendo, Walker and Carrots back...gives us SOME experience. Could do better with Jamo though.
