Jim Park Voting 2023 AFL Rd 7 Carlton vs West Coast

Voting is as usual: you have 15 votes to award pretty much as you will, with the following provisos:
[1] 15 votes in total, no more, no less.
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player (even Sam Walsh or Patrick Cripps)
[3] Three players at least must get a mention.
[4] A grade for the game, A+ (what I want to see) to F-.

Hopefully we'll have guys to vote for.  :))

Hopefully we have some people who want to vote! Numbers have been very low in the last couple of weeks.

Carlton vs West Coast
Our most complete games in years, and the first time we’ve beaten a team by 100+ points since 2011.
Rating:      A+
Granted that we were playing the Weagles, who are weakened by injury more than even us, but you can only play who is on the field. We played interstate and won wonderfully.

Votes:
[3]   Charlie Curnow
[2]   Nic Newman
[2]   Blake Acres
[2]   Patrick Cripps
[1.5]   Adam Cerra
[1]   George Hewett
[0.5]   Sam Walsh
[0.5]   Adam Saad
[0.5]   Alex Cincotta
[0.5]   Brodie Kemp
[0.5]   Sam Docherty
[0.5]   Marc Pittonet
[0.5]   Jack Silvagni

Explanations:
[3]   Charlie Curnow:   Almost the perfect game. Beat 4 opponents. 9 goals.
[2]   Nic Newman:      Nic continued his rich vein of form, dominating across half back.
[2]   Blake Acres:      If anyone wanted to know why we recruited Blake Acres, he showed us this weekend. Excellent.
[2]   Patrick Cripps:      Another strong game in the middle.
[1.5]   Adam Cerra:      Like Newman and Acres, Cerra has stood up this year. Another strong effort.
[1]   George Hewett:   Much improved, Back to something like the form he started the year with. In the first half he destroyed his opponent.
[0.5]   Sam Walsh:      What a player.
[0.5]   Adam Saad:      Solid and purposeful. Saad showed what we missed last week.
[0.5]   Alex Cincotta:      Excellent for the 2nd week. Worth his spot.
[0.5]   Brodie Kemp:      His best game by a significant margin. Showed enough to keep his spot and then some.
[0.5]   Sam Docherty:   Strong and decisive.
[0.5]   Marc Pittonet:      Strong in the ruck.
[0.5]   Jack Silvagni:      Not a huge game, but kicked 3 clutch goals.

Honourable Mentions:
Harry McKay:      H marked well enough, but his kicking still much to be desired.
Mitch McGovern:   Did what he had to and did it well enough. But he wasn’t necessary as much; Kemp was busy showing he was up to it.
Lewis Young:      Good enough, and rucked reasonably.
Matthew Kennedy:   The super-sub. He was brilliant when he came on.

I'll close this thread tomorrow. I don't think anyone will vote. It is a much easier task that this week's voting, that is for sure!
