Dow has been butchering the ball all night and then kicks a goal?

Absolutely, his disposal by foot has been woeful.

Fisher's just a bit above this level as is Cincotta

Yep. They're both standouts. Good to see Fisher lay some strong tackles.
Luke Parks deserves a mention.
Binns sure has a good footy brain and disposal, just needs to get a bit more of the aggot.

Yes Lods, bar one mistake has been pretty good. Really like the way he does the give and go. Talking about Cincotta by the way

Love to get excited about some of the efforts out there... but we are playing a seriously depleted side. Still, you can only play who you're up against (Socrates  ;D ).

JSOS is kicking nearly as badly as Dow

Probably about where it should be now in terms of a result

Fisher and Cincotta have done their senior chances no harm
Binns is knocking at the door
Silvagni may benefit from another week.
Dow could get a 100 possessions but won't get a game.

Gee Marchbank is clean with his disposals, and reads the game so well.

Hopefully a good omen for the seniors game.

Some positives from an AFL perspective in this game;
Fisher - pretty polished, got plenty of it. Could be a replacement for one of the smalls in the seniors
Marchbank - got through the game unscathed (I hope). Some nice work throughout.
Binns - continues to show form and may well come in next week?
Cincotta - played well, runs hard and generally delivers well. Good backup

He is not on an AFL list, he doesn't have to support Carlton, currently the 2nd's (VFL), is where he works and that's it. There are probably many VFL players that don't feel 'part' of the club because we do not really treat them that way.

The VFL is a development squad and that is it. I have said repeatedly on this site that we should build a winning culture by developing our VFL team with a view to winning regularly and competing to win the title. Our seniors are not capable, we would at least have the reserves to look at - in fact I would rather support a winning seconds team most weeks that watch the seniors play.

I can well understand Crocker's affiliation with the Pies, that was the club he 'really' played for and probably still makes him feel welcome.
