VFL 2023 Rd 22 Carlton vs Gold Coast at Gold Coast

The hardest game for the year, facing the rampant premiership favourite at home, but we have to win to assure ourselves a spot in the finals.
Game is on Saturday at 10:25 at Gold Coast.

Carlton day tomorrow from the morning!

Don't like our chances as Gold Coast VFL is RED HOT and with Boyd, Honey and Ed named as Emergencies quality of the team is further weakened.

Boyd, Carroll, Corey Durdin, Philp - 12 touches between them in a half of football where Binns has had 12.

These guys seem to be on holidays already.

Only saw the last 10 minutes. GC  are up for it but not much effort from any of our players.
None of them doing anything for their  promotion chances. 

They may have wrapped a playoff opportunity but unless the afl blues go deep into the finals with a full list can’t see this lot doing much at all.

I'm not confident this week, I'm getting a distinct "week off in the sunshine" vibe, I hope I'm wrong but I'm less confident than I was against both the Filth and the Dees. Is this VFL game a tell?

Even so, if we are going to have a loss, right now might not be so bad.

We were all set in the wildcard round............until today. Lost all the big percentage lead. Now we need North to beat Richmond in the VFL televised game tomorrow.
