It's 1st v 8th. I wasn't expecting a win, but gee that was terrible.

Completely carved up in the coal face. Dow and Fogs should be back for the finals if we make it and maybe Kennedy too.

Carroll, Philp, Corey Durdin no where near it.

50-18 in clearances. Shellacking.

Actually, need to make the wildcard play-off first now. We've gone from safe to needing North to beat Richmond tomorrow.

Percentage down from 118 to 106. Now we sit 10th with Richmond 2pts behind us.

Absolutely unacceptable performance to be destroyed like that.

JSOS injured or on managed minutes? Certainly didn't seem to be on the ground for the second half.

Binns great Q1 and Q4 but shut out in the middle 2 quarters. Same for the Cow.

Cant blame the forwards they never had the ball in their vicinity.

Young had 8 kicked on him by a guy who also relieved in the ruck. Their KFs kicked 13 between them. Still Young did some decent intercepting work as did S Durdin and Parks. Defence was simply overwhelmed.

The gane was lost in the middle where we sere smashed. Moyle is an AFL quality ruck (though not a quality AFL ruck) and a huge man and we had no-one could compete with him. Can't really blame our rucks, but a great learning experience for HOK. It was our ground level players in the middle who were flat-out slaughtered.

Simply uncompetitive and now leaves us at risk of missing the play-off round - North has to not be beaten by the Tigers or alternatively the tigers have to destroy North much like we were today. Go North!

The word 'embarrassment' seems deeply inadequate for that performance.
Only our ruthless best, from Board to bootstudders will get us no. 17

Twitter suggesting JSOS hurt his knee.  Hope not.

Probably deserve to miss on that effort ... lack of effort. Not what we needed. Even a reasonable effort would have been enough. Very disappointing.

North leading by a 1pt early in the 2nd qtr. Important for us they win.

Tiges 30pts up. Have to support the other way now, a North loss by 57pts.

Missed the finals by 3.4%.
The VFL squad will have abit of a shake up in the off season.
Hopefully the two Irish lads can help the team

A 100pts loss would have got us in still but we went and lost by 120pts plus. I'd make them all train tomorrow and flog them.

Having Boyd put in a shocker doesn't help us at all. He had 8 possessions for the day and no influence.

Jack Carroll did his chances of remaining no good either. On a day where we were smashed in the middle, he managed 14 possessions. I give the 7 tackles a tick, though.
I'm less worried about Corey Durdin: he may have had 8 possessions, but he had 11 tackles. Considering that small forwards rarely get big numbers, I'll give that a (conceded) pass.

I'm willing to give ticks to Sam Durdin and Lewis Young; 10 and 15 marks a piece is a worthwhile contribution, as are 20 and 21 possessions.

Not a lot else to write home about. Most of our VFL guys were smashed: Ronke, 11 possessions; Ramshawn 9 possessions, Ned Cahill, 3 possessions (he must have been injured - he's better than that); McMahon, 5 possessions; Mills, 10 possessions; that isn't a big contribution.
More worrying: Harry Lemmey, 9 possessions and 0 goals; Jack Silvagni, 7 possessions and 1 goal; Dom Akuei, 5 possessions; Hudson O'Keefe, 7 possessions; and Sam Philp, 12 possessions. Not a big contribution from listed players. Granted that Jack may have re-injured something and Philp coming back from injury, but that is just not enough.
