Voting for the Jim Park Medal: R#2 Carlton vs Richmond

Another one of the 'might have beens'.  :( :( >:D >:D
I was a very frustrated life form last night.

Remember:
[1] Must add up to 15 votes
[2] No more than 10 votes for any one player.
[3] Please give a rating for the team performance - it determines the weighting for the vote tally. In this case, an 'E' is acceptable.
[4] Please don't use nicknames for players - I'll probably know who they are, but I may not. I am not perfect.

It was not an easy night to give votes as there were few 4 quarter players. However, the team ran out the game much better and should have won quite easily in the end. However, bad kicking is bad football and at the moment we are kicking the ball very poorly indeed.

Team:   C
I can't justify anything higher considering we lost and we played incredibly poor football in the 1st quarter.

Votes:
[3]   Murphy
[2.5]   Yarran
[2]   Curnow
[1.5]   Simpson
[1.5]   Buckley
[1]   Everitt
[1]   Warnock
[1]   Jamison
[0.5]   Thomas
[0.5]   Robinson
[0.5]   Bell

Explanations:
[3]   Murphy:   Probably our only 4 quarter player, Murphy not only had it a lot, but 15 of his possessions were contested. He also had 9 clearances. Apart from his kicking at goal, his disposal was pretty decent.
[2.5]   Yarran   Yazz wasn't bad in defence, but when he was moved forward, he had an excellent game. Unfortunately his kicking for goal is still unreliable.
[2]   Curnow:   Early in the game Cornow was getting a fair bit of the ball, but his opponent was getting it also. Later on, Curnow's possessions slowed down a little, but he did a much better job at keeping his opponent out of the game.
[1.5]   Simpson   Solid effort from Simmo
[1.5]   Buckley      A fine performance in defence from Dylan Buckley. His run and carry was excellent. His kicking this season has been a bit ordinary, but not this time: he showed excellent skills running out of defence.
[1]   Everitt      very ordinary early, but after quarter time he played on Deledio and allowed him only 10 possessions in those 3 quarters. What is more, Everitt kicked 2 good gaols and made some very good decisions.
[1]   Warnock   Robert had a tough night with Kreuzer unavailable. However, he rucked very well and got a bit of the ball. he beat Hampson on the night, although Hampson had his measure in the 3rd quarter. But his kick for goal was unforgivably bad.
[1]   Jamison   Not huge stats, but he did his job very well: 3 quarters of smashing Riewoldt, then 1 quarter of smashing the other Richmond talls.
[0.5]   Thomas   Extremely poor in the first half, didn't get a possession in the first quarter. However, he lifted really well after half time and ended up with 23 possessions.
[0.5]   Robinson   24 possessions and lots of guts, but his kicking still lacks.
[0.5]   Bell      Pretty decent effort, but his kicking needs a lot of work.

Honourable mentions:
Rowe:   Rowe started unimpressively, but he really picked up later in the game. he got on top of his manand started to provide some decent drive from defence.
Henderson   Not a big night for Hendo, but he did do a decent job in defence.
Waite   Waite was useless in the first half, but after a spell in defence, he picked up very well and should have won the game.
White: Not a huge night, but a strong and serviceable, especially in defence later in the game.
Lucas: Lucas came on as the sub and did a very good job ion the wing.
